nothing special
It was a fund raising outing but even with that I could take a look at the course and get feel for it. it is private so you can't walk in off the street to play it. I'd say it's just an OK average course. The most memorable hole was the downhill 191 yard par 3 fifth hole. The 9th and 18th seemed pretty much like the same hole. Hit a drive, layup short of the water and wedge to the green. Many of the par four holes in this old school design ran parallel and didn't have individual character to them for the most part. I didn't hate it but I also didn't find much special about it. I would go back if ever invited but it's not on a wish list of courses to play.
