Interesting golf course. Lots of variety. Not the boring back and forth. Several bunkers are a bit rough. I will definitely play again.
Nice course
First time playing after years of driving by it. Also remember it hosted an LPGA event years ago. Played in the early afternoon on a Friday. My wife and I played as a 2some because course was not crowded. Overall the course was in good shape. Green rolled well fairways were good and rough was fair. Traps could use some sand.
Overall a good experience- would play it again.
Excellent routing and staff!
Had a great time playing this course for the first time. Starter was awesome and checked in with me at the turn to make sure I was enjoying it. Routing was super fun and had great variety. Will be back!
Great course overall good condition except the sand traps
Great course to play. Staff is friendly and the course is usually in great condition. This time the traps weren’t take and they were hard. Had to take before hitting. Pace of play was a little slower than usual but it was a great day to golf. Highly recommend but not when I play lol.
In town for a wedding
And thought it would be fun to play this course as webpage stated it was played by LPGA. It was a bit of a disappointment as the course cart paths and bridges were poorly maintained with potholes crack and heaved concrete throughout. The rolling hills were lovely. However the sand traps were more closely related to concrete bowls.
DISAPPOINTING ROUND
The marshal was more concerned about pulling up on us on the tee box to collect the garbage then to keep the pace of play at a reasonable timeframe.
Very nice course, greens were excellent, playing time was 3.5 hours,we enjoyed playing it very much
The golf course
The golf course was in the best shape since it went public. Tees,Greens,Fairways,Rough all in excellent condition pace of play 4hrs 20minutes.
Terrific experience
The day started out looking bleak with drizzle. Luckily it stopped as we teed off. The course was in great shape. The gentlemen I was paired with were terrific company.
Fun course with many elevation changes
The biggest challenge of this course is the difference between Gold and White tess yardages. Gold 5400 and White 6300 is a big jump. The course could probably use a hybrid Gold/White hole combo with it's own course rating.
Great experience. Well maintained. Nice degree of difficulty. I love the old school feel of a traditional golf course.
I've been playing Berkleigh sporadically for years, ever since they opened to the public. This past round on 5/2/26 was the best condition I've ever seen the course in. Greens and bunkers were perfect, the rough was robust but playable. Berkleigh is one of my favorite layouts and a must play for anyone that enjoys a classic northeast design.
