DISAPPOINTING ROUND
The marshal was more concerned about pulling up on us on the tee box to collect the garbage then to keep the pace of play at a reasonable timeframe.
Very nice course,greens were excellent, playing time was 3.5 hours,we enjoyed playing it very much
The golf course
The golf course was in the best shape since it went public. Tees,Greens,Fairways,Rough all in excellent condition pace of play 4hrs 20minutes.
Terrific experience
The day started out looking bleak with drizzle. Luckily it stopped as we teed off. The course was in great shape. The gentlemen I was paired with were terrific company.
Fun course with many elevation changes
The biggest challenge of this course is the difference between Gold and White tess yardages. Gold 5400 and White 6300 is a big jump. The course could probably use a hybrid Gold/White hole combo with it's own course rating.
Great experience. Well maintained. Nice degree of difficulty. I love the old school feel of a traditional golf course.
I've been playing Berkleigh sporadically for years, ever since they opened to the public. This past round on 5/2/26 was the best condition I've ever seen the course in. Greens and bunkers were perfect, the rough was robust but playable. Berkleigh is one of my favorite layouts and a must play for anyone that enjoys a classic northeast design.

This course never disappoints. Great work with keeping this course in great shape. The greens are awesome. You will use all your clubs and have great views though out this track.

Lovely Woodland Course
Have played here many times. It's a long and challenging but fair track. Greens were in excellent condition if just a little slow. Some tees could use refurbishing but didn't restrict play. Fairways and rough were a bit long but understandable due to drought conditions. All that being said this is one of the nicest classic courses in Berks County PA that once held many LPGA tournaments. I enjoy it every time.
