Excellent course
I was finally able to get a single tee time. The weather was amazing. The course was a little confusing at times but we had a regular playing with us that helped us each hole.
This course sucks
I showed up for my tee time at 11:40am and it was delayed and hour for frost. Once we got on the course we waited at 10 minutes on each tee box. Horrible experience dont recommend to anyone
Friday pm golf.
Course was in great shape - pace of play was slow - no ranger. Will play course again, although relatively short even from the blue tees.
Affordable golf, Great Staff
Friendly staff, relaxed and well run. Course layout easy - expect to hear 'Fore' a lot - as fairways are next to each-other. Great course for higher handicap players
Nice day at mainland golf course
Course was in great condition; greens are really nice and sloped to give you problems if you're above the flag, the length of the course is shorter than most, lot of dog legs for you to have fun trying to reach off the tee.
Monday at Midland
We got there early and got off to a scheduled start time. The course showed some wear especially on the tee boxes and I guess they forgot to remind players to FIX THEIR BALL MARKS. Every green needed repair. That’s the reason for us taking longer than we thought per hole.
We got done and had lunch. Nice basic menu but a couple more choices of protein (chicken, fish) might have been nice.
Mainland Golf experience
For the price, Course is a good deal (using golfpass). Greens were in excellent shape but a tad slow. Most Fairways were in good shape. Pace of play not so great resulting in 4 3/4 hour round. Pro shop and starter were friendly.
Return to Mainland
I hadn’t been to this course in many years. Fun course then I thought was fair but had challenges to it can score well putting the ball in good places but also can recover if you get off the beaten path.
Friendly Staff
I had read reviews discussing rude staff. Our experience was anything but. Check in at the pro shop super friendly. Needed a handicap flag which was also provided with such a positive attitude. Finally the starter could not have been nicer.
Pace of play was fine for a busy Friday afternoon. Love the course. Wish they had forward forward tees because with the exception of one hole red and gold we’re basically the same.
We will be back!
