Tanglewood Club

This is the first time at Tanglewood in a handful of years, and the conditions are very much improved. Fairways are nearly perfect, which is a welcomed improvement. As always, the layout is challenging, and the greens are complex. Definitely a great place to play now.

Tees, fairways and Greens are in great shape. Hard and fast. Rough is definitely under repair but you aren’t suppose to hit your ball there anyways. Love that so many trees were removed and opened it up.

It's been a few years since playing Tangle.

1.There are obvious upgrades and feel in the pro shop Bravo!

2. Again the course has improved and in transition the natural areas need time to accent the course.

Tees were better but more work in next year will be important. Fairways and rough are good and fair.

Interesting to see the autonomous mowers active.

3. Greens have always been tough . They still don't hold approach shots week and for average player it's in fair on certain holes.

3.Irrigation and wet and standing water issues need addressed.

4. Water feature look so much better . The lake has come so far !

5. I understand that hiring good personnel who care is a challenge . There were few instance where staff could have been more attentive.

At the turn there were no breakfast sandwich and or hotdogs to eat . The young lady did have someone bring us hotdogs after the 12th hole. Little gripe was no condiments were provided and delivery guy sad that wasn't his job!! For the total $160 we paid for gf's and food but I did get a tee time and I got to pls with my son and other 2se that was paired with us.

I played two other public courses last week Boulder Creek and Manakiki. Both gf's were between $40-45.

Much better conditions , hospitality and experience.

We enjoyed out time and see great progress and hope to play again once course details are fixed.

Just remember you won't be judged by the current

Improvements but "the what's next " to keep course talked about.

Hear, ‘Tanglewood too long and too tough for women.’ So not true! The scenery was picturesque and the holes carefully manicured. Thank you for such a value!

I have been playing golf at Tanglewood for years and it’s amazing to see how every aspect of Tanglewood is being improved. The clubhouse and course being improved are one thing but the staff is what makes this place great. I hadn’t golfed since last year and when I walked up it was nice that Drew remembered me by name. I will be a regular this summer.

Getting better under new ownership. Clearing out a lot of of trees was the right call.

It is obvious the amount of work and money has gone into Tanglewood GC. Many challenging holes, but an enjoyable round.

Love my home course! The staff is friendly and the course is absolutely outstanding. Each hole gets better! Very happy with all the renovations! Can’t wait for the next round!

Overall from last year this course appears to be in better shape than!

Unbelievable what you’ve done to the clubhouse, the course, the food and more. We were so impressed. Extremely reasonable, and what a friendly knowledgeable, professional staff. Beautiful update to the course in clubhouse. We just love it.

Absolutely amazing course, lot of hard shots which make it challenging and amazing, Love it!!!!!

Much improved course, the team here has put a lot of time effort and money into making the place better, quite a bit of tree work and they’ve added some natural areas with high grass and fescue to help frame the holes. There are a lot of water features some that come into play, they provide a nice challenge for the golfers, They just finished adding a fairway bunker at 11, which is a short Par 4 up the hill that helps frame that T-shot. The greens were pretty good rolled at maybe a 9.5 on the stimp. Bunkers were groomed and well maintained.

Clubhouse is remodeled and looks good along with a TrackMan, Putting and Fitness room.

Recommended as an improved and golf course that’s getting better.
