Played the entire round with absolutely no one on the course! weather was great although rain day before limited us to cart path only. Amazed no one was on this premier layout. Fairways and greens excellent shape traps were hit and miss.
Standard pricing at this course has gotten out of hand - $70 round with all the competition nearby is not justified. Play it if you can get a hot deal and a promo.
Great round
Was a great round even though the rain from the previous day made the course wet in many spots.
Course is not kept up
this was one of the best courses in OHIO and has been completely mismanaged. The bunkers are not playable (see pic), there are no ball washers and fairways are patchy. Play the metroparks courses at a fraction on the price.. Also, when I checked in they claimed that my rate did not include a cart!!!! backed down quickly. do not waste your time.

Some great holes. Like#4. Course in good condition.
Great Track
Great track, great greens, pace of play was good. Recommend.
Nice Evening Round
Enjoyed the last tee time of the day at Fowler's Mill. Greens are in great shape, fairways seem to be weathered due to a lot of rain followed by dry conditions. The mature trees make lining the fairways make this course a pleasure to play.
Over priced for course conditions
Half the grass in the fairways are missing. For almost $100 to play here, I expect much better fairway conditions. It’s gotten really bad with dead grass areas all over the place. It wasn’t bad like this more toward beginning of season.
Also don’t play here if it’s been raining recently, course gets overlogged fast. Faster than any other course I play at a lot.
Despite an amazing course layout, I cannot recommend anyone paying close to $100 to play this course in the condition that it is in. Buyer beware, this is not $100 worthy right now. You will be disappointed. Bunkers were also not properly maintained when I played there on a Sunday morning. You think they would at least try to maintain them, I understand the course was water logged when I was there but dead fairways and no signs of an attempt to make bunkers look decent was big buzz kill for the price. Was embarrassed I made my stingy buddy spend the extra to play here. He was very unimpressed as well.
Cheap ownership/management is ruining one of the best tracks in Ohio. They charge top dollar based on past history. Greens are usually very good, fairways need drainage, lots of bare sections, bunkers are a complete train wreck. Clubhouse is outdated, dirty, chairs in grill must be 20 yrs. old, leak spots in ceiling. They care more about weddings than golfers & course. Imagine having a vintage Corvette and just letting it rust away. Sad. I pray the owner will someday sell.
