About
The lush, rolling terrain occupied by Bent Tree Golf Club was sculpted into one of the most popular championship golf courses in central Ohio. Dennis Griffiths, the course's architect, seamlessly blended the design with the natural features of the landscape. The abundant natural water hazards come into play on half the holes and Griffiths strategically incorporated several well placed bunkers. The terrain's gentle undulations provide some interesting slope in the greens that place a priority on accuracy. Bent Tree Golf Club's par-4 eighth hole is especially demanding. It may be short at only 334 yards but it is surrounded by bunkers on all sides. It is followed by another tricky par 4 that requires both distance and accuracy in order to navigate the tree-lined fairway uphill to an undulating green faced with bunkers to the front and back.

bad conditions
I have played this course many times. It is currently in the worst shape of any course I have played this year. Tee boxes, fairways and even some greens have significant issues. Even the putting green has a large dead area that has gotten away from them. Not good. Too many other quality choices out there to play in these conditions.
SNAFU
went to bent tree for tee at 10:30 .....we were informed that we were NOT scheduled BUT...were marked as NO SHOW for 7:21 am. NOT REALLY !! I have confirmation for 10:30. Bent Tree made tee time for an hour later at another course FOR US. THANK YOU BENT TREE. Meanwhile Golf Now likely kept my full payment. I tried to contact them but they close "chat" at 5pm. I will try tomorrow.
Nice Layout. Terrible Condition.
Tee boxes were mostly dirt on 50% of holes. Fairways were burnt up. You had to roll balls over in fairway or hit off of hard dead grass. Greens were not bad but in good public course condition. Layout was great with some challenging holes and bunker play decisions. There are other local courses that are $20 cheaper in much better shape. Disappointing as it could be a nice place to play.

I have always loved the layout….haven’t been here in years…. The condition is not at all what I remember.
Horrible Course Conditions!!
We expected so much more from this course given the area. The fairways & greens were burnt out & seemed to have some disease. The course layout was very confusing. I honestly don't know if we would play this course even if it was free! It really was in poor condition. The inside of the Clubhouse smelled like cat pee & about made you choke upon opening the door. We would say save your money & play somewhere else. It's definitely not worth it!!
Nice Course
I think on this day, there were a few slow groups, that backed up the entire course; they needed on course Rangers/Marshals to keep things moving. But the course itself and staff were very nice!
Rough Day
Tee times stacked up that play was so slow, plus a group of 12 in front with 5 people in a group- all dropping 2 balls.

Good for the price
Not great but good. Fairways a bit rough looking with dead spots and not the best grass. Greens were real good, bunkers decent shape. Good challenge and fun.

First time
Finally got to play Bent Tree. Course was in good shape . I'm glad I got a hot deal .
Good but early
I played Bemt Tree early in the season….however I payed around 65 in early April…None of the ball cleaners had water in them and the cart paths are rough….but it was overall fun and the pace of play was great. The greens were good but the crew was a little rough around the edges which I don’t care about but some people might be not expecting the grounds crew to be watching every stroke and sitting right off the green as if they were watching a tournament…I’m not that good but I managed to make it around the course just fine. I thought it was perfect for what it was. A place to play golf, that I’ll look back at and remember there are good mid courses. Not too many great ones.

Decent shape for end of March. Needs some work. No where near the course it could be and was years ago.
Still very challenging with a lot of bunkers which were unplayable conditions.

needs tlc
used to be real nice. still has character. crab grass on every tee box and on every fringe. needs water in the fairways and rough also. overpriced for what the end product is.
