Glenross Golf Club seamlessly blends elements of traditional design with more modern features. Formerly known as Tanglewood Golf Course, five new holes were added in an extensive renovation. The original 13 holes were also redesigned from tee to green. The mature oak trees were carefully maintained though and still come into play along the fairways in addition to the hundreds of trees that were added. The gentle hills provide rolling fairways and undulating greens that demand accuracy. There are seven ponds and a meandering creek that come into play throughout as well as some 50 sand traps strategically placed along the greensides. Glenross Golf Club's signature hole is the par-3 14th, which requires a carry over water to a small green but the most difficult hole comes earlier. The par-4 fifth has towering trees to the left, bunkers to the right, and a creek crossing the fairway.

Stay in the fairway
The rough at this course is really thick and will add strokes to your score! The course is in great shape and I like the layout. First 9 was kinda of slow but the back 9 the pace picked up nicely.
Pace of play
As my foursome was coming up the the 9th green we were told we were two holes behind on pace. How is it possible to be behind when we finished the front 9 in 2 hours and 15 minutes. Sure that’s too long for a solo golfer but not 4! Especially considering we weren’t playing a scramble. The course was beautiful but that experience left a bad taste in my mouth.
Nice easyish course.
Glenross is not difficult, good for an average golfer. It winds through a nice upscale neighborhood. Not a long course and not for really good golfers but worked great for this 20 handicapper!
Good condition, rough is sticky
Greens are in nice shape. The wet May has left the rough thick and appropriately difficult, also easy to lose a ball in it.

Course was in BEAUTIFUL condition.
While there was a starter and it was busy, no groups were paired up. We were a 2-some behind a single behind a 2-some. We joined up with the 2some behind us since we were waiting on the single in front on every tee. Luckily, the single dropped off, and the pace picked up on the back - otherwise we were headed for a 6-hour round. UGH!
Disappointed
Showed up early for my tee time on a Sunday to practice. Pro shop said the practice green was closed for a private class. It's the only area to practice. No notice or compensation. Asked one of the people in the private class what it ran them $200. Good to see the course is double dipping while screwing over the patrons.
