Glenross Golf Course
About
Glenross Golf Club seamlessly blends elements of traditional design with more modern features. Formerly known as Tanglewood Golf Course, five new holes were added in an extensive renovation. The original 13 holes were also redesigned from tee to green. The mature oak trees were carefully maintained though and still come into play along the fairways in addition to the hundreds of trees that were added. The gentle hills provide rolling fairways and undulating greens that demand accuracy. There are seven ponds and a meandering creek that come into play throughout as well as some 50 sand traps strategically placed along the greensides. Glenross Golf Club's signature hole is the par-3 14th, which requires a carry over water to a small green but the most difficult hole comes earlier. The par-4 fifth has towering trees to the left, bunkers to the right, and a creek crossing the fairway.

Terrible greens
Worst shape that I’ve seen this course. I’ve played rough 20 times over the past couple years and it is no longer worth the money. Greens were torn up with ball marks all over the place. I was unable to put on my line because of it. Fairway mowing was inconsistent at best. Bunkers were poor. Plenty of other public courses in the area that are in much better condition.
Nice course with just enough challenge
Course was in great condition given the recent weather. A few holes the fairways were rough but overall in good condition. Greens had good speed. Pace of play was great however course wasnt completely booked with 4somes. Nice clubhouse.
SAS82025
Enjoyed the course very much. Tee boxes need work.
SAS8/13/25
Fairways were terrible due to some fungus. Most greens OK. Pace of play slow do to number of golfers.
Very good shape for current heat wave
Glenross is in very good condition, especially the greens. It's been a very hot humid summer, and the staff has stayed in front of the conditions very well. Many other area courses have taken a beating, but Glenross is still up to par!
Pretty Rough...
Course is in very bad condition for the money. On every hole we needed to move our ball to play from grass and not dirt.
Glenross
The fairways and green were in great shape, the bad things I can say about the course is the tee boxes and bunkers were in very bad shape.
Glen Ross is always solid
The course was a little beat up and a number of the bunkers were unplayable which concerns me because so few public courses have decent bunkers and GR usually does.
Nice course
A fun round, in great shape, the greens were tricky, only play half the break that you see. Our group had a good time.
NOT nice staff, but nice course
If you can get past the staff, it’s a nice course. Have had multiple poor experiences with the staff here. From pro shop, starter, Marshalls, just feels like everyone has an attitude…
Not long but was fun
First time to play this course. Not the longest course from the white tees. Not excessively tough. Greens are in very good shape. Rough and fairways well manicured. Had fun and would play this course again.
Course was in good condition like it usually is and the staff was great. The weather was a challenge but the pace of play was solid for a Friday afternoon. I’ll be back multiple times over the summer and fall.
