About
The Links at Gettysburg sprawls across rolling hills situated near the hallowed grounds where the defining battle of the Civil War took place. The golf course wages a formidable challenge itself, featuring 35 steep rock cliffs where the stone-lined tee boxes are perched and 10 lakes and waterfalls that come into play throughout. Red rock cart paths give a contrast to the lush greens and sparkling blue waters. The dramatic elevations allow golfers to enjoy stunning views of the surrounding countryside but the scenery can be almost too distracting since the demanding layout requires all of your attention. Be prepared for a bevy of strategically placed bunkers as well as mature trees. With the challenging layout and unrivaled views, it is no surprise that the Links at Gettysburg is ranked as one of the top 10 golf courses in Pennsylvania.

The guy still works at the course after an overt racism situation. They support his actions or he would be FIRED!!!! Photo submitted by u9215442 on 06/24/2020

Golfer Reviews
Soggy start, but strong finish.
Our scheduled tee time was postponed for approximately 1 hour due to passing thunderstorms. While the pro shop staff issued rain checks to those who wanted them, my son and I opted to wait out the storm knowing that the conditions would likely be extremely difficult and wet following the deluge. We started out on the back 9 since there was a group league that was scheduled to play the back nine later that afternoon and we didnt want to get caught behind them if we had started our round on the front nine. A cart path only rule was put in effect for all holes due to the rain which slowed the pace of play. While the course overall had drained pretty quickly by the turn, there were ocassional wet spots on the greens and fairways which were manageable. My son and I opted to drop instead of playing out of any sand traps as a lot of bunkers were still underwater for the duration of our round. Despite the soggy start my son and I enjoyed our round and will likely return under hopefully drier conditions.
Not to bad
Considering I played on September 1. This late in the year the course is showing a lot of where and tear. Apparently most people don’t know how to fix a ball mark and definitely don’t know how to use the sand or replace divots. But all things considered it’s still a great track and I will play it again before winter.
Great course, pace, and value.
First time playing here and it was excellent. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Course marshal kept the pace moving when a very slow foursome needed some encouragement.
Great layout - challenging - even from the white tees it was plenty. Front nine requires drive accuracy - water on left, out of play on the right with no safety.
Excellent Course
Beautifully landscaped and well managed. Staff is friendly and the course is extremely well designed and is moderately difficult. A must play If visiting Gettysburg!
Great course just need better amenities
Absolutely stunning course that is very challenging. Fairways, tee boxes, and greens were in great shape. Pace of play was super slow as they have 8 min tee times but I played with some great guys so wasn’t too terrible. The golf carts are best I’ve ever been in. They are the Cadillacs of golf courses
My only suggestion is to have drinking water and bathrooms on the course.
Perfect Friday Round
Beautiful weather. Fun round with great friend. Course is challenging
Beautiful Course and Challenging Layout
Nice surprise here in Gettysburg PA, while on a trip from San Diego. Well maintained, just enough challenge without being ridiculous.
