Golfer Reviews
They have the carts set to shut off at certain points on the course. It was AWFUL, the carts shut of So many times when there was no need for them to.
Terrible Management
Course is in rough shape as it is. Called ahead to see if they were open, mentioned other courses in the area were closed and I had intended to buy the hot deal. Within 5 minutes of getting off the phone, the hot deal was removed. The tee time is still available for 4 people so it’s not like someone purchased it right before me. Not worth the value of full price and don’t bother mentioning hot deals on the phone.
You can find better
Course is extremely overpriced for the conditions. Management is not customer friendly. I called ahead to make sure they were open because I mentioned that there were a lot of courses closed in the area today and I saw a hot deal for $45, fair value for the course. Within 5 minutes, they removed the hot deal. Tee time is still available for 4, so it’s not like it got purchased right before me. The course is in rough shape and unless it is a hot deal, it’s not worth it.
Bardmoor Deal
Had a tee off deal to play at 1:15pm. Arrived at the course early as course was dead until 2pm. When checking in at 11:45am with Bob ; he stated I needed to wait till aftrr 12 noon to check in or I would need to purchase a buckey of balls at range. I said the course is wide open, why not let us out early? He said no - thats why you chose reduced rate to play. I bought a small bucket for $9 and was not happy.
Great Course, Great Shape
Played the front 9 in less than an hour, got caught up with the group in front on 14. Ended up taking less than 3 hours. Pace of play was outstanding, course was in great shape. A bit of a drive for me but one I would absolutely make again. Couldn't recommend it more. Will be back again
Course needs work
Greens in rough shape, same with sand traps. It was cart path only but the cart path had lots of damaged parts.
I payed to play 18 ,but at the turn we had storms so wasn't able to finish my round only played 9 holes but payed for 18 with no refund.
First time.
They stack tee times very close to eachother. Par 3s became a bottleneck with 2 groups waiting at the tee box
Great layout!
First time playing this course and very fun layout. Greens rolled true but course was wet due to rain the day before and half the holes were CPO (rightfully so) but would definitely play there again.
Early morning round
I was in town for some Yankee v Rays game and wanted a quick early morning round at a good course with fast smooth greens. I was extremely pleased with the course conditions. I’m a total green snob and Bardmoore left very satisfied. I played early which I would recommend doing if your looking for a tee time here. The range amenities were great. Fairways were tightly mow lush Bermuda. Tif-Eagle greens were rolling at least 10-11 once the dew dried up. Play early and play fast!!!
Great condition, great layout, slow play
Tee boxes and fairways are in great shape with plenty of healthy green grass. Greens were amazing, fast and firm with a little bit of a bite on approach shots. The layout is challenging. Plenty of trees, water and sand to avoid. It's not a rip it and find it course. The pace of play was painfully slow at 5 hours. If the price was under $60, I'd give Bardmoor 5 stars. I'll be back.
Good greens, recovering fairways
We got lucky and got in before late round rush of Friday and PDP pass players. Greens rolled good and fairways are decent. Got good rate on Golfnow and no complaints.
Good course and will be back
Bardmoor is a great track. They punched the greens(small holes), but it's that time of year. Enjoy the course, and will be back
Bardmoor needs a marshall
Do don't waste your time. Very very slow! Teed off with no groups on number one green, and by hole 4 there was 4. / 4somes on number on 4. quit after 9 holes.
