Cove Cay Golf Club

Overall, I don’t fully believe this course is worth the $55. The ocean view from most holes on the back 9 is stunning, but the course is not in fantastic shape and 10 minute interval tee times caused major backup… even on a Friday afternoon. There are cheaper courses in the area that I would rather play.

Truly enjoyed my round! Weekday early tee made for a smooth and uncrowded experience. Can’t wait to play again. Holes run along Tampa Bay making for beautiful photos. Made the boys back home uber jealous. Fairways, greens, and tee boxes all excellent. Value exceeded fees which is a rarity. Highly recommended.

I've visited the Cove Cay Country Club clubhouse several times, and every visit has been consistently excellent. The atmosphere is relaxed yet polished, and the staff is always smiling and genuinely welcoming. I always feel respected and valued as a guest. Honestly, other places could learn from this team. The prices are reasonable, the cocktails are delicious and beautifully garnished, and the Tampa Bay views are wonderful. Big thanks to Melissa, Ashley, Kenzie and Sylvia. A very special thank you to Sylvia for her exceptional service—always smiling, always attentive. I highly recommend the shrimp cocktail and Bang Bang Shrimp. It was great meeting the chef too. The clubhouse is open to the public, which is a big plus. I strongly recommend this place, you won't be disappointed.

I have played here numerous times and the course ws in as good of condition that I have seen it in a while.

Cove Cay is always in great shape. Friendly and professional staff. The course is challenging and evey hole different from the last.

The course is an excellent condition, there’s a balance of easier and more challenging holes, and the staff is very friendly. The pace of play was held up and not addressed, to my knowledge.

Course was ok, staff was friendly. Pace of play was horrible. 4 1/2 hours we played 12 holes and could not take it any longer and walked off. Not someplace I'd recommend to anyone.

Greens had been punched, which I was aware of due tothe booking alert. The greens rolled really well, especially after being punched. Fairways were great and pace was great. One of our favorite places to play.

With the exception of the punched greens, the course was in outstanding shape. It had been a bit since we played here but the wait was worth it.

Overall we paid $65 each player on Teeoff for a 730am tee time. Pace was slow and we waited on quite a lot of holes. Tough to keep rhythm. Also, it was extremely and no breeze off the water. The fairways were great! The rough was very high and tough to find balls. Guaranteed you will lose a few balls if go into rough. Greens were average. Some was better than others . Some greens had several patches of disease. Tee boxes were good. Thought $65 was a little steep for August tee time. Probably won’t play there again for quite awhile.

Cove Cay is a favorite course for us that we play frequently. Course in great shape. Staff very friendly.
