Cove Cay Golf Club

Conditions went downhill since last time I played. Greens were pretty poor, fairways pretty thin and bunkers are more dirt than sand. Tee boxes also mostly chewed up. The lack of rain really taking its toll. Can be a great, scenic short track.

Visited this course while on vacation , great little course

Course was in good shape. Young man in pro shop asked if 1st time playing course. Then he explained what to look for and be aware of on several holes. It really helped. Several fun challenging holes. Some specular views of bay..

Well maintained course. Went at the end of the day and played 9. Never had to rush. Definitely playing here again

Disappointing day. Overall upkeep just isn't there. Tee boxes were beat-up. Area around greens

were really bad. Cups were all broken down.

We have played here several times before and unfortunately the course conditions get worse each time. The greens were mostly green, but definitely some invasive grass/weeds. Bunkers were nice and deep, fairways ok for amount of play it gets. The rough and greenside areas were pretty dried, and in lots of areas 75% sand. Tees were generally pretty chewed up, but you just use tees, so not the biggest deal. The course is tight but fair. Pace of play was around the avg here this time of year, about 2:30 for the front 9. We got rained out, can't comment on back 9. For the price this time of year it was fair.

Maybe it’s winner, but I just played 10 rounds from Daytona to Orlando

Course was hard rough was like concrete couldn’t get a club underneath the ball all day. Which made working around the greens nearly impossible

It was a nice view of Tampa Bay. Other than that I paid 80 bucks

About 50 too much

Cove Cay is a very challenging course where you get to use all the clubs in your bag. We love this golf course.

This course is tight and not to long. 3 woods and hybrids off several tees, The staff were 100% excellent. the greens were fast, even after a light rain. I got to enjoy many bunkers, hope you do too. As a threesome, we had a single paired with us. Great guy, Mike, he played better than me so I. supposed to hate him. I can't. Front went thru with 35mph gusts. Had to keep it low. Still fun. Cart computer system was a little messed up but that's life.

The greens and fairway was in good shape the traps ne e is a little work but plan on a 5 hour round

Beautiful backdrop with the Bay all around you. Pace was very slow at times due to the contrast of difficulty and player abilities. Overall, the view made it worth it if you do not mind a slow round.
