Excellent staff and a beautiful scenic challenging layout. However, the bunkers are just unplayable and all over the course has way too much weedy grasses. This amount of foreign grasses is just not in keeping with the overall top quality of the Cherokee Ridge legacy. Greens are absolutely pure so I guess the members just accept the junk grasses.

If most RTJ courses are nines, the CR course played like a 7 yesterday. The tee boxes, for the most part, were in rougher shape. The greens were hard, a little bumpy, and much slower than my regular RTJ course. However, our foursome actually liked the speed better than RTJ. Except for a few patches around the course, the fairways were in nice shape. Cart paths were fine. No cart person, which is tough on a hot day. We drove 1.5 hours to play the course for $60, which is the limit I would pay for it with the shape of the course and with the distance from the house.

These need a lot of work all over the course. Holding water or no sand down in them. Hard to have consistent outcomes when you cannot determine how little sand is under or around the ball.

The course was in excellent shape, especially the greens.

Really enjoyed the layout, which is pretty difficult. Its not target forced shot golf but there are places that a person should be. It definitely helped that i had local knowledge playing in my group. Really liked the course and will be back many times.

Everything was a little bit dry but its also july. Greens were really good. A couple seemed slower but that could have been the topographical features. No complaints there.

People were extremely nice. Staff was excellent. Hot dogs at the turn were really good char grilled. Reasonable prices and good friendly service.

We played Cherokee Ridge on Sunday, and it was extremely hot. We were very surprised to know there were zero water coolers on the course. The only way to get hydrated was at the turn and before to teed off. No cart girls as well. On warm days this is not very smart. Heat exhaustion is real and having water every 3 holes or so in a water cooler is not much to ask for on the course. For $83 I would expect more.

Even though it was Father’s Day weekend and the course was packed, me and my son still got in 18 in four hours with minimal waiting. Will play again.

Great layout and beautiful scenery. Course conditions could have been better, bunkers especially. But the greens were very nice!

Did not play too bad. It is challenging. There's a few weeds on the course. But we went for lunch. And it took almost an hour to get a BLT and fries.

Lack of staff I assume

Don’t sleep on this place, it’s definitely the best bang for your buck compared to other courses in the area. Staff was great and course was in great condition.

I HAVE BEEN A MEMBER FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS AND THE COURSE AND STAFF IS THE BEST THE RIDGE HAS HAD IN MANY YEARS!!!
