Crap pace of play
Staff is unfriendly , pins are placed in horrendous position and pace of play is pathetic
Pace of play is ABSURD
Love this course & always in great shape ... however the pace of play my last time there and today was an absolute joke. I know management cant ever know the quality of their guests play, but Marshall's need to move these folks that at best hit the ball 30-40yrds, scoring 10-13 ( we counted ) strokes per hole. Made a beautiful day, absolutely miserable.
Nice course…terrible pace of play
It was my first time playing this course. I played the Loch/Pines. The course conditions were really good. There were some tough pin placements. There were a few negatives. The group in front of us was super slow. One of the marshals came by and told us to pick up the pace. We told him we had been waiting every hole because the group in front of us. He said they were already on the green on the next hole. When we pulled up to the next hole they had just tee’d off. The slow play appears to be attributed to slow play, overbooking and bad marshaling. It was a 5hr round. If I go back it won’t be on the weekend.
Quite impressed with course conditions
The course had very good playing conditions. Fairways and greens were pristine and the sand traps were well maintained. The course itself is pretty challenging and I would recommend. It feels and plays like a private course.
Wide Fairways
There’s lots of holes you can pull out your driver on even if you have a big slice like me. I enjoyed the course layout and would definitely play it again. It’s a rather forgiving course, but the rough is thick. There’s not a ton of tree cover so you need sunscreen or you will get scorched. There’s a bit of an issue of not politely telling slow groups to hurry up. I was waiting on every single hit because I was behind some seemingly novice people. But it’s a course you can hit your personal best round at if you bring your A game so I personally love it. First place I broke 100 at!
fluffy fairways
nothing bad to say , which is hard to say about other local courses! Fluffy fairways , great true greens , pace of play great due to Marshall’s patrolling the course , great amenities, great beverage cart ! Will be back for sure ! 👍🏻
Fun course
I find this to be a very enjoyable course. The pro shop staff is as friendly as in the city. The course is 27 holes and each time you play it could be a different set up of which 2 nines
you play. The greens roll true. The fairways are in solid shape. The bunkers are great. I played on a Sunday morning and we played in three hours and 59 minutes, which was amazing.
Love it
Been playing here a lot lately. Great value for the price in my opinion . Biggest gripe is the greenskeeper places the holes in tarded positions and angles…would not fly in official tournaments.
Pace of play
I have played here multiple times before my last experience was the wirst it has ever been at a club before. The two some in front of us started behind pace. The entire round we were waiting on them (we a 4 some which included a walker). This then proceeded to the Marshall continue to harass my group asking us to speed our pace of play. Keep in mind due to the two some in front of us we started 7 mins late and we made up 5 of those minutes. Having the Marshall stop us multiple times asking us to speed up our play which we had no control of due to the group in front of us really ruined it for the group. So beware of the Marshall and his little iPad he will harass you over your pace being held up by the group in front of you.
Needs Repairs
The course is undergoing renovations in the club house so, once it is done this should have better amenities. The course was in fair condition but, the tee boxes had been over sanded and under repair.
The staff was very nice and they were accommodating.
I played this course about 15 years ago and it was in much better shape but, based upon my conversation with the staff I believe it will be in much better shape next season.
Overall course conditions were good I would say better than most of the public access courses. Greens rolled true, bunkers are maintained. My only complaint is with a 3 nine layout your pace of play is constrained switching 9’s. I like to play early and fast and making a turn to finish in 3.5 hours just doesn’t work
