Great track
The staff makes you wanna come play it again. I’ve been in golf business my whole life and love the conditions here. Layout is straight out in front of you. A few risk reward holes. The starter doesn’t load up the tee box so first hole jitters if any are gone . They also have JOHN DALY good boys drinks. BONUS!!!!! Every trip to Biloxi calls for one round here. Btw members are supper nice to play with . Makes 4 rounds here and many more to follow . Keep up the good work
Good course
The layout is a little flat in places but over all a great course to visit during the weekdays. When we played Sunday it was too crowded by drunks who were hitting the balls directly into us. We left on hole 10 because it took 3 hours to get thru 9 holes and didnt feel safe playing anymore after a ball come right by my face in the middle of 10 fairway by the guy behind us. Even some of the members were leaving and advising us not to play the weekends. Kinda sad because it’s just overcrowded. Got to cut some people off and speed others up.
Good scoring if you can chip and pitch
All the greens are crowned, so approach shots need to be in the middle of the green. A little left or right, or short or long, and balls roll off the greens.
Course is relatively short, especially the par 3’s. Staff was extremely friendly.
Only negative is that, as a first time golfer, it was confusing to find the right tee box. There is no signage.
Fun day
Staff was very friendly, course was in very good condition and greens were excellent. One really negative was no signage on tee boxes? Actually played as a single but got mixed up on holes and ended up just playing the holes not knowing which one I was on. Once I got back to starter shed I just replayed front nine since I played the back nine mostly.
Nice historic course
Staff were exceptional!
Lack of yardages at tee boxes, and directions where tees were.
Ranger came around and asked if we needed anything and made sure that we were enjoying ourselves.
I would definitely play there again next time that we are in Biloxi.
A Good not GREAT scramble
The coarse was GREAT. My favorite in South MS so far. The staff was great, the coarse was in great shape, I love the layout, everything was great. The only issue was when a couple of foursomes became an 8some and slowed everything down. The marshal broke them up and then made them let a few of us play through. It was a bachelor party so everyone understood and just wanted around.
