Ballantrae Golf Club

The course was in great shape,we were paired with a couple of guys that played very slow. The rough was high and made it hard to find the golf ball but I would add about the height of the average better golf courses.The greens were fast and it took us over 4 hours to play although we were in carts because of the other 2 golfers.( walkers are allowed on Saturday.)

Overall I still enjoyed Ballantrea.

The course was in great shape. It was cart path only even though the fairways were dry. The greens and fairways were in great shape. I will definitely come back.

Played on my birthday with my wife and two sons. It was an awesome experience!!! Layout was beautiful, fairways were beautiful, greens were well maintained and beautiful too!!! You can definitely tell that there is a high standard of upkeep/maintenance! Will be back as soon as I can!!!

Ballantrae is a well maintained course with super friendly staff, and beautiful views. I’ve found a gem and can’t wait to play there again.

We played from T box number three, which is perfect for a white tea box. The fairways are narrow, but the layout is very wide open. The day we played it was very punishing being in the rough. The Bermuda was a little tall and it was even hard to find your ball, even though you saw it . My advice is be sure you spot your ball very closely.. the fairways and the greens and the fringe and just everything about the course is absolutely flawless. There’s no reason to not play this course. We just found it really punishing in the rough and I hope that it will cut it closer in the future.

Very hot and humid, but great course conditions made up for the inconvenience of being so hot.

Course condition was outstanding. The greens were in excellent condition.

This is a good quality public course. The greens are always a bit firm and the grass hasn’t started to green up in the fairway. Overall for the time of year it is the course is in pretty good condition.
