Slow and confusing course
At times as many as 3 groups waiting on one tee box, just too slow of a round. The course layout had multiple points where you have to walk back down the fairway (slowing down pace of play) to get to the next hole. Just confusing
Condition was decent, but really slow play and long queue for the first tee, due to putting tee times too close together along with players coming around to repeat the 6 holes
Lane Cove Discovery
Despite challenging course conditions due to recent weather events and current construction to their clubhouse eveery effort was made byt the ground staff and clubhouse pro to make my round as good as it can be. the course is fairly challanging but I managed to play a few good shots. Will definately return once construction is complete. Thanks Lane Cove Country Club.
Why is this course still open?
This course should no longer be open and being offered as a genuine 9 hole course to the public. There are dogs everywhere, construction workers talking on the phone on fairways, t boxes poorly kept, little signage around the place to direct players unfamiliar with the course.
Charging $22 to play there is a joke.
Course Under renovation
On the first tee the buckets were full of water and the sand pit empty. The course was empty and the golf "pro" was sitting idle. That was the highlight. You can imagine the rest
Rip off please avoid this golf course
I paid for 9 holes and could only play 6 because that is what was available without previous warning before booking. Cannot charge the same money or fail to communicate in advance that there is only 6 holes available before promoting this course on this website. It is a complete rip off, please avoid
room for improvement in tees
The tees are in a shocking condition.
The greens are in good condition.
The course has obviously been affected by the construction of the Sports Centre, it remains to be seen how will the course look like when these works have been completed.
No one answers the phone!
First time going to this course... closed due excessive rain! I get that! But you try to call the number for the Pro Shop and there is no answer! And the policy says they will charge you if you don't cancel outside of 24hrs, so I went there and no one was there! No phone, no people!!!
Fun course but under construction
Course is under a lot of construction and the layout is now very strange. Id avoid for a while and return when they have completed their renovations.
