One of my favorite courses.
Hyatt Hills is one of my favorite courses to play in the central NJ area. It has an awesome driving range with a ton of bays with simulators in each bay telling you everything from yardage to swing speed etc. The course is very well maintained. The greens didnt have a spec of damage other than your normal unfixed ball mark here and there. They roll pretty fast so bring your A game with the flat stick. The layout is great. Theres a good mix of difficulty. Its not the toughest course Ive ever played but there are a few holes that will challenge any good golfer. I havent played any other 9 hole courses that I enjoyed quite as much. Even the mini golf was nice. If you want to hit the 19th hole after theres a great restaruant/bar on premises. The course you get for the more than reasonable price is tough to beat. I'd recommend this place to anyone.
Golfers replace your divots!!!!
Considering the amount of play it gets the course is in good shape BUT golfers replace your divots and use a green repairing tool to repair ball marks.
Nice Practice Course
The course was in excellent condition. Nice course to build confidence, with wide fairways, true greens, and not much trouble. Look forward to reopening of full 8th hole.
good course
good muni course, was some construction on the last hole
Great time
The course is great for Being 9 holes but the pace of play is not good . Players do not have course etiquette to pick up there ball and play best ball if your on your 5th shot and still have not reached the green..
Excellent condition
No matter how much rain down pours, this course always drains well. The greens are better than half the county courses in the state.
If only the shmucks in the condos along the 8th would allow the whole to be played in full. It is one of the better holes of the 9.
Nice 9-hole public course with a driving range and chipping area. Really enjoyed it! The only downside was the pace of play. It took over 3 hours to finish 9 holes.
Great course pace of play never an issue conditions at always good
Good value
Course is okay. Some serious wear in some of the fairways and tee boxes a little beat up. Greens were fine. Bunkers okay. In many areas the rough is dead so it can be tricky hitting your ball out of hard packed soil. 8th hole has some permitting issue and plays as a par 3 when it should be a par 5. The driving range is great and really nice they have both a practice green and a chipping green. I’d go back just to practice. I’d play there again if inexpensive.
Fix the 8th Hole Already.
Course was in decent condition. Pace of play was fair. Greens were shaggy, likely due to many days of rain leading up to our one nice day. Course is a good challenge until finishing the 7th hole and having to walk 1/3 mile to the makeshift 8th tee, where an otherwise stellar, long par 4 is condensed to a back-to-back short par 3. Seems to be the 8th hole setup for 2 years now. No warning from staff. No discount. It's getting OLD.
