Great spot
Great place to play. It has become my go to this season. The greens are well maintained. The staff is friendly, price is reasonable. The food in the club house is excellent. Recommend without reservation
Great course and layout
The course was in good condition regardless that aeration had taken place only a few days before on the greens. Only wish they had this information updated on the GolfNow app as I probably wouldn’t have played that day. But for the money it’s a great course.

Rude Officials, Shaggy Greens
Galloping Hill greens were slow, maybe on purpose with most greens overly slanted. During my round, every member in my group was 8 -12 handicap. After ending the first nine in 2:10, we had faced an official instructing us to play faster on the 8th, and then the starter angrily ordered us to go directly to the10th tee at the turn. I think they were confused and this angered me as my glove had ripped and I planned to get another at the turn, but was pushed along rudely. We were just 1/2 hole behind the group ahead. For the back nine we waited at every hole for the group ahead to finish. I noted the group behind us didn't go to the 10th tee box until we had completed the 11th par 3, taking a long break. The pushiness we experienced was unacceptable. It angered me for the entire second half.It's notable the 12th and 18th tee boxes are unacceptably in disrepair. It is long overdue for Galloping Hill to fix them. I support fast play but the officials were rude, confused, and it isn't acceptable.
Course was in great condition. 2 tee boxes were being repaired and the temporary tee boxes were moved forward.
Picturesque course
Everything was in great condition. Only downside was the threesome in front who had one giving a 5 minute swing lesson but that’s not the courses fault. Only wish a ranger came around to kick them a kick in the rear. The cart gps monitors pace and it would be nice if it was enforced.
Where are the black tees?
The course play long from the blue tees...I keep looking around ro figure out where the "black" tees were! Fun challenging course! Your driver needs to show up! Specially on 18th.
Some groups jam the traffic.
Ranger should be on the field to keep up the traffic speed. Although they are monitoring on the cars but no ranget on the field.,
