Fun day
Some challenging holes, very firm greens, not a long course, only down side some holes a bit noisy , very close to the parkway.
Great course
As a beginner golfer, this was a really good course. The hole layouts are challenging with plenty of changes in elevation and a variety of holes with narrow and open fairways. I saw plenty of golfers walking, I love walking but after finishing I am glad a took a cart. My only issue with the course was the 12th hole white tee box. I am assuming it is under repair. But for now, there is a large wooden box with carpet hitting mat as your tee box. I tried hitting off it, but it was extremely difficult. Other than that, one issue, the course is in great shape with fast greens. I would highly recommend trying it out for yourselves.
Well maintained, great conditions, great value
Reasonably priced compared to others in the area for what you get. Great range, very friendly staff. Great bar and food that you can access at the turn. Course was in perfect shape and the green were pristine, but lightening fast.
Also a great 9 hole that isn’t a pitch and putt. Full 9 holes.
Great course
Came to play 18 holes with friends fI r the first time and had a great time
Picturesque course
Love this course and try to play it monthly. Only straight lie is your tee shot. Always challenging.
Exceptional day
Finally got to play this course that has been on my bucket list for over a year. Will not be long before I’m back again. The facility overall is unmatched to anything I’ve seen. Driving range, practice greens, putting greens and learning course were top notch. The layout of the course was great. Loved the elevation changes. Seemed like there were no holes where either the tee box or green were elevated. So many hills. Greens looked they were punched not too long ago and they were fast due to slopes and hills so putting was tough. Course conditions otherwise were very good. Pace of play was slow due to the course was packed but like everywhere there was never a ranger out on the course. It got a little annoying hearing the cart beep and tell me I was so many minutes behind play when the group in front of us was 100yds away on every tee box. Overall had a great day. Will definitely be back soon. Could possibly be my new favorite course in NJ
union county JAM
As a Bergen County golfer, I’ve always wanted to play this course whenever passing it on the Garden State Parkway. I found a great hot deal on GolfNow and couldn’t pass it up—glad I didn’t. It was a treat.
The fairways, tee boxes, and pace of play were all excellent. Even though the holes feel close together, it never felt crowded, and the weekday afternoon pace was smooth.
The greenside areas were a bit worn with some patchy spots, but overall I was pleased with the experience and look forward to bringing a friend back later this year.
