Sanctuary Lake Golf Course

For all the negative Nancy’s out there saying you are play My on a landfill you need to check out some of the other trash courses around. Friendly staff. Very welcoming. Beautiful course for a city course. Have all kinds of golfers but what do you expect on a Friday afternoon? Only waited on last 3 holes of 18 as a 3some. Multi level greens. Lots of hills and bunkers and tall heather. Many elevation changes. $65 for 18/cart. Took 4:30 to finish teeing off at 3:25.

I understand you have to make money but having tee times 8-9 minutes apart isn’t great. I was also told that there was a bachelor party out there so we are backed up. That’s your job to keep them moving, not an excuse. I’d go 10 minute team times and increase your cost 10%. This way you get people the respect the game and can play in 4:30 instead of 5.5 hours. Also, you wouldn’t have greens that have 20+ pitch marks on them.

Iv played many times in the pass. However first time this year. Green were super slow. Slowest Iv played all year. Iv played over a 100 rounds this yr

Visiting from CA. Played here early on a Tuesday morning as a single. Got paired up with another single. Local guy who was super friendly and super helpful. I LOVE this track. Beautiful and challenging but also fair. Lots of elevation change and risk reward shots. Im also used to CA prices so I’d say that $60 to ride is a tremendous value! Finished in 3:30 but of course that’s playing a twosome 2nd off on a weekday AM. Will be back next time I’m in Michigan!

Course was in great condition- greens, tee boxes & fairways. Bunkers freshly raked.

10:48am tee time delayed before even started. Turns out an eight some was allowed in front of us. And constantly all together at tee box. Even though they scrambled, We still waited on every hole. Delayed and no pace to play. 3hrs for 9 holes. Ridiculous. Starter should have delayed eight some. Not a pair of two somes put together.

And no Ranger keeping the pace.

Nice Muni course. Views are nicer than anticipated. Pace of play was to be as expected, however a really enjoyable nine holes played with friends. Staff was friendly

We (2some) had a 6:44 tee time and the started suggested to the 4some we start first and worked out great. Cart path only because of rain the day and night prior.

Course condition very good but sand traps were horrible shape and every time I’ve played that is usually the only complaint

This course is challenging, but fair. I've always enjoyed playing here. There were a few areas damaged by standing water.

Good driving range and practice greens. Would be nice if they had a good chip and pitch area with sand bunkers.

Flew in from South Carolina to play with a friend who live there. Nice course but I soon realized the course was made on an old dump site. Kind of interesting. Greens were nice and open fairways. Will play there again

This was my second time playing. I am blown away at the condition and pace of play. Played 18 holes in a touch over 3 hours. Great range. Loved the grass area. Greens rolled true. Fairways were awesome

Spent $75 to play golf on a rainy day, the person working the Counter was miserable, seemed like he hated his job and was mad that I showed up at the golf course this morning… I don’t mind overpaying for golf but when the staff treats you like crap, that’s where I draw the line. I will never go back there again and I live a half a mile from the golf course…..
