Golf for the working class
With the increase of golf popularity in recent years it has been tougher and tougher to find an affordable course one can go to on a regular basis. Mud run is my go to course. Yes it is a muni course and has a green or two that could use some extra tlc. But for around $20 I can play 9 holes of golf and I’ve rarely ever had to wait on the group in front of me.
Great course for beginners thanks to the orange tees, my wife, who is new to golf, and I go regularly and the orange tees are a blessing for true beginners.

Love this course for practice. Well maintained and friendly people. It is also the course for First Tee.
Better options available
Have played here numerous times only once was the staff friendly. The guy behind the desk acted like he was doing me a favor by being there. And now they want $30 for basically a nine-hole farm track? That is laughable. You can play a way better course for less money.
Mud run
This golf course is my favorite it’s crazy they only charge what they do because it’s in great condition with a great mix of holes I come here often and plan to keep coming for a long time .
Very slow pace of play
Made the mistake of booking behind a very slow league of seniors. I’m 78, but I at least know that more than one golfer can hit at same time at different parts of fairways. These people had to watch everyone’s shots which really slowed play. I will book again, but later in day.

We have played this course a few times, as far as I’m concerned, it is a diamond in the rough! A great course especially for nine holes! It is in great shape, greens, tees, fairways are great ! Staff inside & outside are fantastic! We will be paying it again & again!

What a very nice 9 hole golf course, it is run by the City of Akron & I will add run exceptionally well, it is maintained well, staff are great, greens, tees, & fairways are excellent, pace of play is very good & the rest of the course is also in excellent condition! Thanks! We will continue to come & play MUD RUN!
MUD RUN GOLF COURSE
This is the second time we have played Mud Run! It is a very nice course! Amenities, course, greens, tees, fairways were all excellent! Pace of play was nice! Staff are always polite, professional, & efficient! Thanks, we will continue to play Mud Run!
Value for Sure
Fastest Greens I have played on this year and they were aerated but rolled perfectly and no sand Thumbs up on course for a Metro course
