White Clay Creek Country Club at Delaware Park

Course was in decent shape. Greens surprisingly fast and true. Had rain the first few holes which prompted the shop to go to cart path only (probably a little earlier than needed). Between that and some slow players in front we had a 5 hour round. Not ideal, but at least somewhat understandable.

I was so sad when I learned that White Clay Creek was closing last winter but was very happy to hear that they were reopening under new ownership so quickly. It looks like they have added some nice features that make your round of golf even more enjoyable. The fleet of golf carts looks like they're brand new and each have tablets in them. They have water stations all throughout the golf course so you never have to worry about being dehydrated. It looked like they opened up a new Snack Shack out on the golf course in addition to the cart girl who drives around. The signage directing you to the next Tee box looks like it has been updated and improved as well. The staff there is top notch; they're just incredibly helpful and friendly. But most importantly, the golf superintendent has the course in great shape! Everything was just top-notch: tee boxes, fairways, putting greens and bunkers. Your team is to be commended!

This place was so over packed and the pace was atrocious. Literally waited 15-20 minutes on every tee box. By the time we got to hole 8 there were 4 foursomes on the hole. We got paired with a random solo golfer and they just gave up after this hole

This course is a hit or miss, conditions are mediocre, tee boxes were beat up, greens are okay, the rough was horrible. The course can be challenging, but I played with a 4 iron of the tee from the black and white tees, shot 82. The driving range is a plus when you can use the grass, the grass was beat so bad they should have moved the ropes. Felt bad for the employees who had to pick balls while people are hitting golf balls at them, not a safe situation. I asked the women who is an employee were the bathroom was and the individual who was painting the upstairs bathroom had a horrible attitude when asked about using the bathroom. He was inappropriate with his comments towards the other employee, while he was sitting on his phone.

We were asked to play cart path only for 14 out of the 18 holes. There was no reason for it in the afternoon. All holes were dry when we played. So our round lasted 5 hours, since the course is huge . Other than that it’s a good course. Challenging and secluded.

This was our first time and we were celebrating my son's 40th birthday. The night before we had a torrential rain storm so the course was wet, but still incredibly well kept.

My son left his sunglasses at the driving range, my daughter in law called to see if anyone had turned them in - 20 minutes later, they hand delivered them to us on the course- what service!

They aerated greens but didn’t hurt putting to much rest of course perfect scenic very tough but what a challenge Quiet

They had just aerated the greens but it didn’t matter - the layout is superb and hitting nice drives into the majestic fairways and approach shots to ideally placed greens was a great time. Normally the greens are championship caliber , played by professionals and collegiate golfers. There are deer , fox and geese fun to spot - I even saw a pair of fawns hopping over the high grass as mom watched . I would recommend you play this course, no matter what tees. The sprawling large creek makes you hit down correctly on the golf ball , no Florida run up hockey shots. The practice facility is top notch as well as the staff - always very helpful . The new owners are doing a wonderful job.

Mid day tee time; no one pushing us and no one in front of us. Pleasure playing at a relaxed pace Course was in great shape even the green that were just aerated were playable. Overall an enjoyable day.

Great course. Challenging for experienced golfers but not impossible for a novice, some really great holes and a friendly staff

From getting a teatime, I wanted, at a reasonable rate, to the friendly staff and beautiful Course layout, White Clay Creek is definitely worth a visit. Although all the amenities are not up and running yet, the en Course options are great and when the Restaurant and Barr are open full-time. It will be even better. Looking forward to seeing continued to improvements to this wonderful course.

Too many holes where you can’t drive cart on the course which definitely slows play ALOT. Expect a 4hr and 45 min. round —-and we had 4 good players. I wouldn’t play this course with 2 players Will be waiting around too much. Also, this is NOT a course for walking, not even sure this is an option here
