Southbrook Golf Club
About
Nestled in the quaint village of Binbrook, Southbrook Golf Club has a charmingly idyllic yet convenient location that is only minutes from the QEW, the 403, and the Lincoln Alexander Parkway. The club first opened in 1969 with a nine-hole golf course, which was later expanded to 18 holes in 1972. A renovation of the golf course resulted in a redesign of five holes on the front nine and a new irrigation system. Southbrook Golf Club now plays to a 6,560 yards and its new challenges demand precision and keen course strategy. The meandering Welland river snakes through the golf course as well, coming into play on 13 holes while also enhancing the natural beauty of the course.

Remember when
I first played this course 63 years ago, when I was 18. There has been many changes since then. Some good and some ok. Still miss the old signature hole 10th that was awesome. Only drawback I noticed I that the grounds keeper could fill in the ruts going over the bridges. Very bump. Otherwise a good time.
Very nice course with great staff
Super nice course. Although it was raining it was great. Lukas the staff member was kind professional and very helpful.
Not as advertised on Golf Pass
I booked the round with Carts and when I got there I was told that due to course conditions carts were not available, I had a knee replacement and could only play 9 holes walking but paid for 18 with no refund for the back 9 even though I booked with carts. I’m still feeling the pain today
Always waiting
Tee time too close.
Always waiting with 1 or 2 groups waiting with us.
I want to like this course but they hve sold out to the websites. 3 hours for 9 hole at twilight even...
Atrocious pace
Backed up off the first tee. 90 minutes to play 4 holes, then saw a ranger speak with slow group 2 tees up. Still, no improvement. Took 2h45m to play 9 holes before I got a raincheck and left. Spoke with multiple staff members-- none apologized or even agreed that pace was at a snails pace. Will gift someone my raincheck and never return. Would've preferred a refund. They need to spread out tee times, work on the cart paths, seed some areas around the greens, and hire more competent staff who will enforce proper pace. But hey, new clubhouse looks great lol. Worth a few extra bucks to go to Willow Valley, or anywhere else really.
Poor pace of play
The course was pretty nice and the conditions were as good as I assume could be given the time of the year, but the pace of play was absolutely brutal. There were points where 2-3 groups were waiting at a tee box to tee off.
Beautiful course
The course was really beautiful. Some tricky holes, sloping greens and very lush grass to hide balls even if only the fringe of the fairways.
