About
Cranberry Golf Course was carved from the picturesque landscape of southern Georgian Bay and has the distinction of being Canada’s first Audubon Society-certified golf course. There is some slight undulation in the bent grass fairways but overall the terrain is flat, making it accessible for beginners since there are no dramatic elevation changes or severely uneven lies. The front nine has numerous water hazards and plays a bit longer than the back nine due to a handful of lengthy par 5s. Cranberry Golf Course's back nine plays shorter and dryer but there are difficult doglegs and several large, strategically placed sand traps. There are also grass bunkers and contouring around the greens for added challenge.

This course is in poor condition
The fairways are dry, the course is in shambles and they have tried to improve the course by shortening some hole from par 5 to a par 3 ect they have redone some greens, but they are so bad a member has mentioned that they will be redoing them again. Huge cracks in the greens even the new ones. Overall condition is very poor and some of the layouts of the fairways have been redone very poorly will not play again.
Disappointing
Disappointing experience! Several greens were in very rough condition. A few sketchy tee off decks. GPS didn’t work with new course design. No cart service on the back nine on a hot day. We played Monterra the day before and the course was in fantastic shape by comparison.
New design
Old course layout was a much better design in my opinion. The new layout now has the front nine a par 37 and the back a par 34. Yardage also goes from 3626 yds to 2653 from the blue tees.
In fact most tees lose almost 1000 yds between front and back.
Needs some Love.....
Staff very friendly. Clubhouse is nice with practice areas. Havent been here in 8 years...big big difference in the course condition! found the course in some noticeable disrepair. Many greens were diseased, not well maintained and in poor condition. Bunkers have regular sand that was not turned...like concrete. Why have them if your not going to turn them? Tee blocks were not cut and overgrown. Used to be a great well maintained course and regrettably its being neglected from what it once was. Spend the $20 extra and go to Monterra or Batteaux Creek next time. Disappointed in the course condition ....yet again the staff were great.
Holes changed
GPS stopped working as holes have changed. Some of the greens were in rough shape. Some areas un puttable . 40% of greens.
Solid round of golf
The staff were great, welcoming, and very accommodating with my schedule, which I really appreciated. The course was unfortunately very wet during my round, and a few holes were under construction, which affected the overall experience. Hopefully the conditions improve soon, as the service was excellent.
Terrible
The course is in terrible shape. They have lost many of the greens (fungus?) The tee boxes are as hard as concrete with little to no grass on them. Doesn't look like they have watered in weeks. Even the score card was a photocopy...
After the round went to the deck for a beer and the person informed us that the deck was closed because it was too hot!! Terrible customer service. Will not return
Cranberry
Nice course but needs lots of work to bring it back to the five star condition it used to be “back in the day”.
Nice but .......
The course was is excellent shape. Greens were good. The re designed holes were hinky. Better signage is needed on, I think it was #3. We totally played to the old green. Once you get up to the path near the green there's a sign saying the green is to the left. That signage needs to be on the tee so you know where you're suppose to go. Once the re design is complete and a little money is spent on the course it will be excellent. Clubhouse needs a refresh too!
Cart path only
There were two holes that may have required cart path only. It was not necessary to have car path only on the other 16 holes. Very rude marshall.
Otherwise a great day.
Great experience!
We had a great time! The moment we pulled the most friendly staff were there to greet us and unloaded our bags. We really enjoyed the course. They are working on a few holes right now but the course is in excellent shape! We will definitely be playing here again our next visit to Collingwood!
Cranberry golf.
Great day of golf staff were very nice course was in good condition overall except for a couple holes they are changing we will be back!
Disgusting
Do not play this course as there is so much goose poop on the front 9 you can’t walk the fairways without stepping in it - like a mine field of goose poop.
The condo developer has changed a number of holes so that any golf app does not work you need a range finder.
Very slow play! Forgot how terrible this course is - will never play again even tho I live less than 2 miles from the course😩😩 absolutely outrageous green fees for the quality of the course - shouldn’t even be offered by Golf Now.
Which way do we go?!?!
Lots of on course changes and rerouting. A little confusing for a first timer at the course. Staff was good at telling us about the changes but it was still confusing. Next year will be a better layout.
