Batteaux Creek Golf Club

About
Situated amidst the scenic Georgian Triangle, Batteaux Creek Golf Club stretches across 250 acres of rolling hills that are sprinkled with lakes and ponds. The challenging, 18-hole links layout has many risk-and-reward opportunities that appeal to players of all skill levels. The greens are undulating and quite large, allowing for numerous ball placement choices, and the landing areas are generous but the middle is not always the best shot. There are bentgrass fairways and numerous bunker’s strategically placed throughout in addition to the water hazards. One of Batteaux Creek Golf Club’s most interesting holes is the par-5 17th, which is a dogleg left that features a pond on the left that filters into a creek that then crosses the hole diagonally from 150 yards in.

They have let the course go to trash
Awful greens. Weeds in no sand bunkers and still charging top rates. Terrible.
First play at Batteau Creek
My gifted golf grandson and I (not so gifted) has a lovely game at Batteau Creek. Course in beautiful condition, a terrific range of holes and very nice staff. We will head back again.
No value for money
80$ for 9 holes with cart at twilight
Bunkers are not very good
Greens aren’t well maintained with divots throughout
Great value
The layout and overall condition is great except for the traps and bunkers. Best public course in the area by far.
Best public course in the area.
Great layout, friendly staff, good driving range (expensive)
I enjoy the course every time i play it.
Great course
Played with my wife and two local golfers who showed us the way. Course is very scenic. Greens are in good shape and the fairways are forgiving. Shot an 87 so it was a good day.
Fun course
A very beautiful course with many natural area all along the holes. Fairways are quite wide mostly. It takes some thoughtful shot placement to score well. Bunkers need some softer sand. Staf was very helpful and. gave me a book that described each hole. Played with 2 local guys that was a real hoot.
Great design and well worth playing.
A strong layout and in good condition. The one exception are the bunkers which are well below standard for a course of this calibre.
Pace of play was slow, and there was no cart service. Having said that, the course is well worth playing!
Great experience
This is the best value public golf course in the collingwood area. Great layout, condition and challenge.
Pace of play was slow as cart path only because of excessive rainfall.
Normally it plays in 4:15 hrs.
Great staff and carts. Very walkable. Good driving range. (Range balls are expensive)
Kitchen
Was looking forward to eating after round but due to staffing issues kitchen wasn’t open. I understand many places are having same issue.
Staff at the course were very friendly and nice to deal with.
Hopefully staffing issue get resolved.
First time playing course
Started off as single, joined 3 other golfers ahead of me.
Enjoyed their company.
Had 3/4 hour rain delay on hole 12
This course a great challenge
Not worth the $
This is a great course, however, given the bunkers current state, the cost is too high. Course was in pretty decent shape though and staff were awesome.
