Ridglea Country Club - South Course

The more difficult of the two courses at Ridglea CC, the South Course was designed by Ralph Plummer in 1955 and is reserved exclusively for use by men. Jay Morrish renovated the course in 1988. Hole 2 is guarded on the left by the Trinity River and is long at 450 yards. Number 10 is loaded with hazards–a lake guards the landing area that runs all the way to the back of the green. Drive it well on number 12, where the river weaves across the fairway three times. The landing area off the tee is in a very small area at the corner of the dogleg. The Trinity affects 14 as well, winding across the fairway in front of the tee and again at 225 yards out.
