Creekmoor Golf Club

Creekmore is a challenging course to play with a variety of Tee Box combo options. I played the Green/White combo which was 6400 yards, and it was perfect for my game. I am a 57 yo 12 hdcp swing driver about 95mph average drive maybe 250. I really like the layout on this course, although it does weave through subdivisions which is not my fave. But the course uses water, native grass areas, lots of contours and slopes, curving fairways, and a thick punitive rough to keep your attention focused on the course itself. There are some quite long par 4s, a 600+ par 5, a 178 par three fronted by water and backed by native grass. The pin on #7 was all the way left and close to the water, you are hitting into a narrow green with little margin for error. The greens are awesome, lots of contours, backstops, and levels which made it challenging for a first timer. And the pins were in tough spots I had zero straight puts. There are some tight fairways and there is always some trouble lurking off the tee and around the greens, but there are wide fairways as well. The greens and fairways were in GREAT condition. There had been a couple days of rain (although it was perfect on my day of play) the the bunkers were not ready for play. In my opinion, this is the top public course (that I have played) in the KC area, besting new Swope, Tiffany Greens, Falcon Ridge, Winterstone, and Drumm Farm. Give it a try.

I want to be a member so bad. This is a beautiful course. Go play it.

This course is a must play course. One of the best courses I have played. Outstanding price. I have played several courses around the world and this is in the top 10.

Creekmoor is a great golf course but very hard especially if you don’t keep the ball in the fairway.

In the middle no where this is a wonderful golf community with the semi private course in the middle. The course is fun, challenging and very well manicured. I would recommend it.

Championship caliber course . Excellent in every way one of the best courses in KC metro. Higher handicap players are advised to pass on this place you will have a miserable round. More advanced players are up for a piece of humble pie …very fair layout especially off the tees but mistakes can happen fast and are penal !

Overall the course is pretty nice. Tee boxes, fairways, greens, bunkers all were very clean and great to play from. Only complaint is the the aeration made a lot of chips and puts bump away but everything else was stellar.

I arrived about 20 minutes early, checked in with the starter, and took a few minutes to warm up at the driving range. Everything seemed fine until I returned to the first tee right on time for my scheduled slot.

That’s when things took a frustrating turn. The starter insisted that I consolidate carts with another single player, which wasn’t mentioned at all during my initial check-in. On top of that, he implied we were extremely late and holding things up, even though we were spot on with the tee time. This immediately set a rushed and uncomfortable tone for the entire round, making it hard to relax and enjoy the game.

The course itself is actually quite nice—well-maintained fairways, challenging layout, and scenic views that make it a solid option for golfers in the area. However, the poor handling at the start really overshadowed the experience, especially considering the cost. It’s not exactly budget-friendly, and this kind of service makes me question whether I’ll return. If you’re booking here, double-check any cart policies upfront to avoid similar surprises. Overall, nice course but not worth it based on the experience—potential for better with improved communication from staff.
