About
The Gold Course from Greg Mastriona Golf Courses at Hyland Hills is the only 18-hole course at the facility. Designed by Frank Hummel, the course opened in 1959 and used to include the 9 holes of the Blue Course as the front nine. Currently however, both the Gold and the Blue are separate courses. The landscape of the Gold is hilly and seven ponds create a beautiful atmosphere while also adding challenging water hazards to eleven holes. Although the entire course is scenic, the 12th hole is considered to have the most picturesque views. Its elevated tee offers gorgeous vistas of the majestic Rocky Mountains. Greg Mastriona Golf Courses at Hyland Hills is known not only for its gorgeous scenery, it has also received acclaim from golf publications such as Golf Digest.

Why is the range so bad?
I hope the range is about to get a makeover! The club house is way too nice to have a range that looks like none has taken caste of it in months.
Great overall first experience
Took my partner and parents to Hyland hills and really enjoyed it. No complaints.
Too many people
We waited over 15 minutes per hole for the two guys in front of us to golf.

Beautiful Course / Great Value
Great value for such a beautiful course!! Will definitely play again, awesome views of the mountains as well!!
New policy sucks
I I was charged a full 308 for four players even though I told them two players were a no-show. Their new policy really sucks. I know they’re so busy that they don’t really care.
Spotty course conditions
Play today 6/17/26, the putting green was in perfect pristine shape. Get to the very first hole sanded greens that don’t look like they’ve been mowed or watered in a week. The pace of play was great. Unfortunately didn’t see the beverage cart after the third hole, got some snacks and beverages at the turn but when we came back to the snack shack three holes later, it was shut down. This is on a 95° day, no water on the course, not likely much water used on the course either.
Slow and strict
Hyland hills use to be my favorite golf course but they have jacked up the prices and let it get too crowded. Took us almost 6 hours to complete 18 holes. We had a group of 3 and they made one of us ride in a cart with a stranger…which I understand but when you are there to hang with your friends and get stuck with someone you don’t know all day isn’t fun.

Overall quite nice, good layout, some "peculiar" holes, easy check-in.
Golf now App is terrible.
I tried to delete a golfer and it would not let me. Tried calling customer service and it went to a credit card company.
We had a medical emergency and I had to pay for a round of golf for no one. 👎👎
Fun Course
This was my 1st time playing this course. Was a fun course and will definitely play it again.
