Hughes Creek is a well cared for course. A couple of burned out spots, but the course is well manicured and taken care of. Greens were fast and true and held shots coming in from the fairway. Bunkers were a bit thin, but were raked and playable. Course isn’t super long so hitting hybrids and fairway woods off the tee were a good idea.

Good elevation changes and a nice variety of holes.

Played at 10:00 on Friday. Back in my car after 18 by 1:15.

Highly recommended!

Good Course and maintained well

The course is in good condition except for a few spots here on Holes 2 and 4, which may be due to the large rainfall recently. I would strongly recommend replacing the steps to reach #17 tee box for safety reasons. Getting down is risky for seniors.

This course is hard. I play poorly every time I play here. I probably will never play this course again. It’s a great course though. I just personally play poorly here.

Hughes has stepped up

Course is in great condition. Cart paths still need work on the back 9. Recent GPS gadgets are very helpful. Especially on hole 16, cuz you can tell when the group in front of you finishes. We used to drive to the top of the hill to check.

Bring plenty of water

Only complaint I have… there was no water available on the course and no cart girl. The feel like temp was close to 100 degrees.
