Better than expected
With all of the rain we had, I expected the course to be very wet because this course usually doesn't drain well. Remarkably thought, the course was in very good condition. The rain may have slowed down the greens, which was good because usually it's like putting on ice.
A good course with a few interesting holes
The maintenance has improved from last year. However, there are numerous pot holes and damaged areas on the cart paths. Urgent repairs are needed
Greens
I’ve played this course in the past. The greens here are difficult. They are in good shape , but challenging and rolling very tough to read. Some of the current hole placement was ridiculous. We’re not playing PGA golf here . Short sided pins , close to traps .
I’m not looking for easy , but I knew what o was in for.
Ridiculous
I’ve played this course before, never had it been this expensive. Never has it been this slow, painfully slow so much that we quit after 16 holes and 5-1/2 hours for a Friday 11:30am tee time. Don’t even get me started on their amenities, they are non existent
Expensive for no amenities
Unless I missed the BYO food to the course an $80 pp round is expensive with only candy as a food option.
Challenging layout
While not the longest course from the respective tees, don’t let that fool you. This layout is filled with well placed hazards, hilly terrain, and many undulating greens. The course is in very good condition except for some tee boxes that need work and some greens that are pock marked due to golfers not properly repairing their ball marks.
Challenging layout. Limited amenities. Slow pace of play.
I personally find the course enjoyable in spite of various limitations. The greens are mostly raised with a lot of terrain. Pace is slow I believe because the approach to the greens are tight and lead to many mistakes. A lot of 3 putts for the unskilled. The course conditions are good for a public course. There is no drinking water on the course and noone to sell refreshments. It does have a driving range and a large putting green.
Really nice, challenging course. Greens are the most challenging part. Course could use a little work, some greens and had dead spots and lots of untreated divots and the cart paths are horrendous. Definitely could use a little more upkeep but for $50 on a weekday, I’d say it’s a really good value. A course I’ll definitely keep in rotation
Sunday Funday
Out with our usual group. We like Mill Creek. The place could definitely use a halfway house with food. Otherwise, it is always in good shape and fun to play!
Disappointed
Had a 7:16 am tee time and was greeted with being told there was a 2 hour frost delay. Really nothing the course could do but wasn’t ideal. The course has potential but was not maintained well. Areas around the green in rough shape. No flagstick on hole 16 was icing on the cake.
Fantastic as always.
Awesome and challenging layout on this course and the greens were truly in amazing shape. Love this course but dislike the driving range.
