Bliss Creek Golf Course

I have been playing Blliss Creek for several years and have in the past enjoyed my experience. It's a nice, inexpensive course that has been in good shape. I'm not sure what has happened (weather, disease, etc.) but the course was in horrendous shape. Tee boxes were chewed up, fairways had bare spots and greens and bunkers poorly maintained. The Ground Crew director should be fired for letting the course get in it's current shape. I don't plan on returning there this year and hope they make the necessary improvements for next year.

Nobody keeps track of tee times on the first tee. It’s a free for all. Delayed 30min on the first tee just cause nobody enforces tee times. The place is clearly over booked to make more money on weekends.

I understand that we have had some rough weather lately; however, the conditions at Bliss Creek have deteriorated significantly since the last time I played. Don't get me wrong, Bliss Creek's employees are fantastic, the friendliest people around. However, the course is really ragged looking right now. There are bald spots on the greens. Literally. A good amount of the course is roped off, not allowing carts to go on. The fairways are COVERED with leaves. Even if you hit directly down the middle, it can be an adventure finding your ball. The rate for Bliss is still competitive, and the people are awesome, but seriously, this course is in need of some rehab.

No starter keeping track of groups going out. It’s a free for all. Delayed 30min on hole 1. Groups just line up and go out whenever. 4 group hold ups at certain points on the course as well. 5hr round is ridiculous.

Very nice course well kept, some spots need some work,

but it’s obvious they are on it! Mostly caused by the amount of rain we have had! Overall very nice, and sometimes a little challenging course! But our foursome enjoyed ourselves very much!

The greens on the back 9 are totally washed out. Very little grass if any. They should be paying you to play activities are unplayable! I oigebthebiayour, but wait until next year to play!

I've played this course many times over the years. They obviously have had issues with weather killing a lot of the low areas. Greens were in good shape. They need a ranger help speed up play.

This is a shorter course, but since its a par 70 it plays longer than you would expect. Most of the course was green, but several fairways must've been flooded in our recent rains which killed the grass. We just played winter rules and moved the ball as necessary. Half of the traps were also hard packed down from the rain. We still enjoyed the spectacular weather and had a great time. The range only allowed hitting off mats, and the putting green is very sloped, so not a great place to warm up, but the clubhouse bar/restaurant is great and offers a nice menu.

Played 18 in the morning and another 9 after work. Just a fantastic course and staff. The mornings are quiet and walking here is like being in a forest preserve it’s very relaxing. After work took my wife out and played 9. Pace was a little slow they had a league playing but we were not in a hurry. Overall my absolute favorite course just for the relaxing vibes. I’ve gotten to know a couple morning regulars and it’s nice to see the same guys out there.

Course had multiple holes on the back nine where half or more of the fairway was dead, freshly reseeded, or otherwise in really bad shape. I get that the round wasn't expensive, but the overall course was in really rough shape. Probably needs a couple weeks with no one on it to recover.

Nice place to play. Pace was slow but enjoyable. Friendly people on and off the course. This course is narrow which adds to the slow play at time while people look for their off fairway shots. Definitely recommend and will play again.

I was not informed we were the last group at 9:30 due to an outing at 1:00 one the other guys in our group said he was told before tee it up on #1 that we had to be on hole #15 by 12:15. We had several groups in front of us we had to consistently wait on every front 9 that we finished hole #9 at 12:05 I didn't go to the back 9 no way we were going to make that. The pace of play was the worst I have seen this year on any course, very disapointed.
