It’s still early in the season, so the fairways weren’t quite up to par yet—but hopefully they’ll improve as things fill in. One issue we ran into was a six-man group ahead of us, which most golfers know isn’t acceptable. The marshal stepped in and split them up, which helped for a few holes, but they eventually bunched back together and slowed the pace of play again.
That’s not really on the course—just poor etiquette from a few golfers. Overall, we’ll likely be back out to play again this year.
Decent for early spring
The greens were in really good shape for the time of year. Looks like they've been watering them. The fairways are still pretty dormant. Looks like they've revamped the tee boxes, adding one more box (for a total of 4) from what I remember from last season. The whites now play back a bit further than before.
Has potential/ layout is good !
Greens in good shape but rest of course in awful shape. Layout is very good if they can fix the conditions of the course
Course
Driving range was closed, greens had many bad patches, tee boxes un level and patches of grass. Layout goes back and forth across street with very few markers showing where to go. Might try again later in spring and hopefully in better condition.
Horrible Customer Service & Management
I reserved a tee time for 2 thru GolfNow & was eager to get out on a good day of weather to play a round of golf. A familiar course I frequent to play. Unfortnately today was not a good day. I proceeded to pay & get started for play. The course was not in good conditiion for the carts to be in the fairway due to rain & weather. It was "CART PATH ONLY!" I understood the rule and went to tee off. During my second shot on the FIRST hole, management came out with major attitide & said your game is ended & your card refunded!? I asked what did I do wrong? He yelled and said my cart wasnt on the path? The player with me couldnt believe what was happening. The CART wheels were on Path & grass fringe. He said that ALL WHEELS must remain on the path?! With a confused look i just left with no argument. I never experienced anything like this before. I dont know if he's new or if he was having a BAD MONDAY. it was not professional and how he handled it was not great customer service. Me or anyone else will NEVER patronize this golf course EVER again. It couldve been a warning to say stay on path guys & we'd play on.but thst didnt happen.
Always a challenge!
Love this course. Pace of play was great except for a walker who snuck in front of us on the turn and bogged us down.
Course is in great shape for February and can’t wait to get back when spring finally comes.
Nice day for golf.
I we had people that wanted ti play on the coarse , that would be great. When you have young kids thT do not lnoow if they want to golf or mess around. Had two group like that day. If not for that it would have been a great day.
Won’t be back
I played here when conditions couldn’t be any more perfect. the tee boxes had tall grass, greens full of divots, fairways torn up in areas. I’m good on this place, go somewhere else for what they charge.
Good day for golf.
Coarse in good shape. Some kids not sure where thy should be. Over all justa nice day for golf.
Pace of Play
Everything in the course was fine but the pace of play was HORRIBLE. I was there for almost six hours. I got paired up with a different group which was fine, but at some points we were on the tee box with four different groups waiting. This was the longest I have ever played 18 holes in my life.
Course needs some love
I've played this course many times. This was the worst shape I've seen it. The greens were in grea shape, butt that was about all. The fairways needed severe mowing. Lots of long grass patches all around .I lost two balls in one fairway due to the long grass (wasn't in the rough, per say, just off what should have been the first cut). made for a frustrating round. This is the 2nd course in the past week I encountered these conditions. Maybe having staffing troubles?
Plus, I wish they would put some effort into smoothing out the fairways. You will rattle your teeth out driving across them. They probably should be totally plowed up and releveled.
