Tamarack Golf Course

We went at 3pm on a Thursday and got lucky there was only a twosome ahead of us. The layout and condition of the course was surprisingly good! The greens were fast and challenging. The fairways were pretty forgiving. The driving range was nice and well kept. All in all a great course. We will be back!

Booking online doesn’t have an option for senior rates. You have to call the course and book it yourself. Golfpass doesn’t have that option unfortunately so using the app is worthless.

My playing partner and I arrived an hour early to hit the range and hit some putts. When we get over to the practice green, which is adjacent to the first tee, the starter informed us that we were picking up a solo player(which is fine, I play solo all the time). For context, this was 15-20 minutes before my scheduled tee time. I told the starter that we’d like to hit some putts first and weren’t quite ready yet. It didn’t seem to be an issue. While we were hitting putts, the solo tees off. So in the interest of time , we went ahead and teed off too. We ended up following a foursome just to wait at least 5-10 minutes on EVERY hole for this foursome ahead of us. What was the point of getting us off in a hurry just to wait. Slow play is such an issue nowadays.

Course is in pretty good condition, with a great layout!

Weather was just as good as the coarse

. Every one was friendly andade for a great day !!

From TEe to green the course is in great shape best I've ever seen it and I've been playing it for 30 years!

What a great course, the greens were perfect. You had better keep it in the short grass.

The course is in outstanding condition..greens r pristine! Pace of play..another topic of discussion..lol!

I have played this course many times in the last 40 years. I’ve always liked the layout, and the course conditions are the best I’ve ever seen. Tees, fairways, and greens all excellent. Thanks to whomever is maintaining the course. Highly recommended.
