Eagle Point Golf Course

Course was in good shape except for the bunkers as usual. its really too bad that they don’t do something about the mud holes they call sand traps because the bunkering is part of what makes the course.

The course is poorly maintained and it is getting worse every year. The worst part is the "sand traps" and bunkers that have little to no sand in them and most have standing water in them even during hot weather. The course has over 60 sand traps and bunkers that are major design feature of the course and they are all in terrible condition. At the pro shop I was told that they are working on developing a plan to fix the sand traps. But it is way to late for a program that will take 5 or more years to complete. Complete reconstruction is needed now to bring this course up to a level of maintenance you would expect at a typical muni. We are dropping Eagle Point from our regular rotation until significant improvements are made.

It was a beautiful sunny day but there was not a beverage cart on that day.

We were immediately greeted by the pro shop staff at check in. They informed us that a men's group scramble was happening, but it did not interfere with our pace of play. The course was in beautiful condition, a little long in the rough and sand was a little hard but the fairways and greens were perfect.

The carts were clean; the pro shop had a beautiful selection and was well stocked. Overall, our family enjoyed the course and look forward to playing there again soon.

Courses should give a small discount for during green aeration greens. Other than that it’s a great course.

The course is great. The greens are always in good shape. The tee boxes are good to go. Fairways and rough are wonderful. My only issue is there tends to be pockets of water underneath the turf. It’s like a grass waterbed in sections. But overall this place is amazing for the price I pay

Big problem is the restaurant: they don’t care about customers! You are lucky to even be looked at when you walk in. Food has been poor and overpriced for years!

This course could be top notch with proper management!!!!
