Country Club of Halifax

Course needs big time improvement to the tee boxes. Greens in good shape but tee boxes looked like Leo J Martin - horrible.

The course was nice, but nothing special a lot of straight flat or slight dog leg holes. Not worth $95. Maybe the prices were elevated because it was a holiday weekend.

Fairways are good condition as well as the greens. The tee boxes are deplorable. Some don’t have a spec of grass on them. If you can get by that, it’s a great course

Every tee box is in shambles and about half the greens are patchy and rough with some areas I can only describe as looking like crocodile skin. For 95$ green fee me and my group were incredibly disappointed.

First time playing and invited guests from out of town. I tried to get a tee time for a different high end course but there were no tee times available. I saw Halifax and remembered when it was Private and if I remember correctly the public could play on Thursdays. With that in mind I thought why not try it. I was impressed with the staff when checking in. Things went downhill from there. Carts were unpredictable when braking which was a challenge. Tee boxes and greens were diseased on quite a few holes (we only played nine). The 19th hole was very disappointing. There was a very limited selection of beverages and I mean limited. On a positive note I will say the layout of the course looked great. Such a disappointment and will not return.

Layout is nice & challenging. Tee boxes could use some work due to over played and usage.

great value for the money. don't expect pristine tee boxes or smooth first cut / fringe, but it's a great layout and a somewhat challenging course.

Greens were very good as were the bunkers for the most part . Quite a few figures. Some uphill to green some downhill. Nice mix .

Had an amazing experience at the Country Club of Halifax! The course is beautiful, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the overall atmosphere is great. Everything was well-maintained, and it’s clear a lot of care goes into making the experience enjoyable. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great country club!

Great course, extremely hot conditions. Water was provided at sporadic stops. Awesome staff. Will be back.
