Great value
Solid course. Great value. Greens are solid. Roll true and hold approach shots well. Tee boxes are a bit rough and there’s not much sand in the traps. Staff is great though. Will definitely play there again
Definite need for Rangers!
Not that we are great golfers, but too many people are just clueless as to etiquette. So many people play from further tees when they obviously should be playing more forward tees. Continuous slow play when people are just standing around. As a foursome we were continuously on the backs of a threesome! Rangers should be speeding up the play. 5 hour’s plus to play.
Good solid course
Overall a good challenging course with the tees pushed all the way back. Course is in great shape, the fairways are in great condition and the greens are in superb shape. Alas, the tee boxes are almost bald and could do with a facelift.
Very friendly staff, especially the starter. The amenities are great, driving range close by and a big practice green to boot. I will definitely return.
Work to do
Plusses: greens, price, pace of play. Minuses: tee box conditions, zero sand in bunkers, zero amenities . No bar, no food, no water on the course anywhere. This course was great back in the day, they’ve got work to do to get back to that
Don't Recommend
This course has been a favorite of mine for the past years, but not this year. This Course is in terrible shape! The first hole was the only hole that had a grass playable area. The fairways had no grass in 65% of the course at best. I am not sure what happened to this course by it's workers, but I would not play this course again this year, even if it was for free!
Ran by teens
The course itself is decent, fairways in good shape, bunkers could use some love. Greens are unbelievably fast. When I went no one was really on the course, finished front nine in about an hour and change, came to the turn and the pro shop was closed…pretty much closed just so the employees can play golf. Paying 100$ for 18 and a cart is not worth it in my opinion if you can’t even get water at the turn let alone use the bathroom. All bathrooms were locked and only thing to use were the baking port-John’s out there.
great staff and course was in good shape. It was a quiet day at course that made it even better
Good course
Overall I love the course. I walk and this is a great layout for walking. Only complaint I have are the bunkers. They are awful. All rocks. Very little sand.
Greens and tee boxes pretty beat up for a $100 greens fee with cart.
Has gone down hill
Played this course a lot over the years and feel it is not being maintained the way it used to and the way others courses in the area are. Awesome layout and still playable. Just not what it used to be. Hopefully the current ownership commits to it as it could be great!
Decent course
The tee boxes were a bit beat up. I wouldn’t call it sand in the bunkers. Not really fluffy more compact. Fairways were in nice shapes were the greens. Walkable layout. Pace of play was good. Nothing quirky about the layout but nothing remember able either. Played on a hot deal that made it worth it
Need Rangers to push pace of play
Not that we are great golfers, but too many people don't play to their abilities! We had to skip a hole to by pass the extremely slow group in front of us! Too many don't know how to play ready golf! If they had rangers to enforce speedier play the course would be a lot better instead of enduring 5 hour rounds on a weekday !
Nice sunny Thursday
Great day to golf. Very nice course and great value. Greens in very good shape. Definitely recommend this course
Father’s Day outing
7of us went out for pre Father’s Day golf. What a great time we had. The course was great and the staff were awesome. Especially the ranger. We had a group of 4 and 3. We were waiting for the group in front of us. So we ended up all playing together. We were still waiting and had nobody waiting behind us. Some a-hole complained that we had 7. The ranger came out and noticed the situation and logically made the right choice and left us alone. What an awesome time we had.
