Really Nice Course But Need Green Work
This Course Is A great Course , The People Are Great And They Have Been Working On This Course hard For A Few Years Or More But Some Of The Greens May Have A Fungus Or Just Need To Be Worked On But Also This Is A Tough Time Of Year To Do. Over all The Greens Still Roll Good And Hopefully They Will Grown In A Bit Better.

Tough Course But Love Playing It
This Course Plays Very Tough And Is Always A Great Challenge For Myself And Friends. It Plays Long And Makes It Tough To Break 90 , Go And Enjoy This Great Course.
Not bad
Not a bad course, but not impressive either. Punch holes not filled by late May, no hot food available still even though the tee was pretty busy. A lot of sparse grass off the fairways and greens, let’s be real that’s where most of us are a lot
At the end of a very hot day, there was NO restaurant of bar open. Very disappointing!
Course was long and flat. Not a bad course by any means.
Need Rangers !
The course is always in great shape, however , they NEED rangers to keep the pace of play in check. We originally had a twosome in front of us, but on the 10th hole , the group in front of them (a foursome) let them play ahead. My biggest pet peeve is play to your ability! This 4some were hitting from the white tees and definitely should not have been playing these tees ! Every hole they played in at least 20 plus minutes! We finally skipped a hole on back 9 and saved at least an hour on our round! These guys were clueless in playing ready golf and should have been told to speed up their play, but it was not worth getting into it with them ! No courtesy whatsoever!

Greens were punched 2 weeks ago and the holes were big enough to effect every Putt.Its always in good shape but not going back until the greens heal.

Great course with well kept fairways and greens. The staff is always friendly, pace of play solid, and the layout is fun/enjoyable. One of the better courses in the South Shore!
Great value
Great choice for all golfers. Course is very challenging and great shape for this time of year. Staff was very friendly and made sure all my needs were taken care of. I look forward to playing this course again soon.
Always Great
Always have a great experience at Halifax Country Club. The improvements they’ve been making around the course and clubhouse really show. Friendly staff, well-maintained greens, and a great place to spend a day golfing with friends.
Try something else
The course is ok, but in terrible shape. Staff limited, only saw the person in the pro shop.

Greens, a bit firm, but rolled very well even a bit fast. Fairways, Tee boxes great. Bunkers were a bit packed down. Pace of play on a mid morning (Sunday) was very good.

In general Halifax CC is a great course and the staff are very friendly which is rare these days. Even though the course conditions were a little rough it was expected, the greens were surprisingly enjoyable and I look forward to coming back this summer.

Proshop let us out earlier since course wasn't as busy due to weather. Layout is nice & open. Pretty flat & plays long, 6200 plus from Whites. Greens were quick.would play course again.
