About
Squirrel Run Golf Club offers some of the most scenic golf on the South Shore of Boston. The course is an executive layout that is gentle enough for beginners and even juniors to tackle with confidence. There are no par 5s on the golf course, most of the holes are under 140 yards. Even though you may not need distance, a strong short game will take you far on this course. Rough borders the fairways and there are a few strategically placed bunkers framing the greensides. Squirrel Run Golf Club is a very forgiving golf course overall and it may not be the most formidable test but there are a few tricky holes, like the par-3 13th. This is the golf course's signature hole that plays from an elevated tee over water to a green that slopes from back to front, and if that wasn't enough, the entire hole is at the mercy of the prevailing winds.

Slow pace of play today
The staff as usual was friendly and efficient. My group tee'd off a little later than our scheduled tee time.
We backed up at the 3rd hole thru 8th hole. Fortunately the group holding us up stopped after 9 holes.
Many of the greens had been aerated, hopefully greens will be better soon. I wish tee boxes were in better shape, they're small with not many options for the maintenance crews.
I enjoy Squirrel Run and think it's a fun layout to work on your short game.

Challenging Shorter Course
Easy to bogey holes if your tee shot isn’t on the money. Some tight small greens to make it challenging to shoot par. But nice backstops on the green if you like to spin the ball. I play here once every other week and love the challenge.
Just ok
I liked the layout but the holes were a little close together. Almost got hit twice. Greens were in ok shape but pin placement was ridiculous. Pace of play was painful. 4 old walkers in front of us, no ranger.

Played on Monday , weather was great, pace of play was good and the course looked good. We enjoy getting out for golf a squirrel Run.
Squirrel Run
It’s a nice executive course. Great place to play with my wife. The front 9 has a couple of par 4’s while the back are pretty short. The course is in very good condition. Staff was excelllent. I would play again.
Nice Day for Golf
Course is catching up after a long winter. All and All, not bad considering the tough winter weather.
Looking forward to warmer weather greening up the course.
My wife and I enjoy golfing at Squirrel Run.. The course is par three course that backs up in several places. We were there on Wednesday and the fairways had just been worked on and their were plugs along most of the fairways .
