Olde Scotland Links at Bridgewater

Terrible experience. Paid $130 to play here with pushcarts. The girl took the collars from the carts and said “you don’t need those” and took the collars. The bags obviously were not secured, so my boyfriend’s bag fell off 3x before we got to the first tee. Then we got to the first tee and asked if we had put it on wrong- immediately the starter said “where’s the other piece?” We explained what had happened and he went back to the club house and grabbed the collars. Said the girl immediately knew what she did was wrong. But there was no attempt at correcting that wrong. We voiced our feelings of being upset about the push carts, his $350 bag damaged (legs bent from hitting the cement 3x, scratched, and club damage TBD), the fact that the bag had sentimental value from his mother meant nothing to the people we told the experience to, only met with a “well what do you want us to do?” Again, there was no attempt at fixing their mistake. We practically had to beg for a $18 refund for the push carts. The course is very difficult but well maintained. Just wished that they treated their customers the way they treat their course. Bottom line- if you care about your property- bring your own.

Friendly staff and a bit higher quality for a muni than expected.

Nice variety. Many memorable holes. Wind is almost always a factor. Conditions are usually above average. Walkable. Strongly recommend.

One of my favorite courses to play, challenging but at the same time forgiving.

The only complaint was with the cart girl. She rolled up as we were on the green of the 6th hole putting. I motioned for her to wait as we were all interested in cold beverages. She waited for about 15 seconds, then took off, never to be seen again for the next 3 hours. Every other facite of the experience was spot on. The fairways are terrific. They're soft and a little furry. You don't always get the roll out on your drives that you would expect from a links track but your ball sits up a little bit for approach shots.

Very demanding yet a fair test. The greens were slower than expected but they rolled true. It's inland though, so when it's hot it's steamy. Nice on course amenities. The starters were very kind & helpful. The course requires multiple plays to score well. There are some intricacies, especially with the #1 & #2 handicap holes.

We had 9:40 tee time and were told there was a foursome in front of us. We walked to first tee at 9:30 and starter told us we were on the tee and to catch up with twosome that just teed off. No warmup and we rushed the r first two holes. Not happy but this starter was just not in contact with pro shop..I

Great layout with some challenging holes. One of my favorite courses in the area.

Great course layout but seems to have a few wear and tear issues probably due to the business of the season. A handful of greens have extensive divot holes overwhelming the surface
