Chemung Hills Golf Club

Maybe it is the time of year, but I played 18 in 3 hours playing 2 balls. Not immaculate but pretty great conditions. Strange layout, fun, but a little silly. Like a 290 dog leg where you hit it 170 or less unless you cut the corner to a narrow sloping fairway. Super quick greens on a soggy day. Tons of undulation, very fun, one pin was borderline impossible tho. More of a testament to Greenspeed than a complaint.

First time playing here. The course was in good condition. Keep the ball on the fairway. You can lose it in the rough. Greens are super fast, but consistent. Enjoyed the round.

We had golfed Chemung Hills a few years ago and I had forgotten how beautiful it is this time of year with its rolling hills and high vantage points to appreciate being out in nature. I wish I had taken pictures to share here. The course was in nice shape. It is somewhat challenging, but very woman friendly. The staff is great and the restaurant well worth staying for.

A challenging, well designed course. Only a couple holes for long ball hitters, but iron players will fall in love with it.

Coarse was in really great shape, especially after the major storm that swept through, many trees damaged and no power for 4+ days. Most everything was cleaned up and no damage affected the play. Good variety of holes and elevation changes. Will definitely play again soon. Friendly staff too!

I love the change of slopes. It’s not just a flat course and it is laid out between trees so it can be tight sometimes. It has several sets of tees depending on your skill set and like me a senior golfer.

Challenging course! Has a driving range and putting green.

Played here quite a few time but this was one of the worst times ever the pace of play was terrible ending up leaving with 4 hole to go.

Good value on golf now. But the staff because you get your tee time on golf now, let people that had teetimes after us go first because they paid the higher rate not fair. I booked a tee time. I want my tee time.

The Golfnow’s price was almost double what the course offered.

The course: with the exception of nearly every tee box the course was in excellent shape.

We eat at the restaurant of Friday evening which was two days before we played. Locals love this place and I definitely know why. Friendly staff and very good food. Portions are large and a great value for the money.

Every year I visit Whitmore lake area and always play this well maintained and challenging golf course. I highly recommend it. Very reasonably priced and great staff.
