course, especially the greens, were in great shape
99 year-old beauty
Took my grandsons here actually only one and we got off at 5 o’clock with the GolfNow $65 rate for three of us, but the one did not come so anyway fair value and nice old layout Greek conditions if you’re on the water fairways grandson has a 300 but he can’t stay on the fairway but anyway he ended up beating me by one so it’s all good. It’s been five years since I played their wife didn’t like it but I like it
99 year-old beautiful old girl open for forgiveness for the big hitting grandson
Booked online here for three of us by one grandson bailed out so it’s just the two of us and started at 5 PM breeze through the front line an hour and 20 minutes. Very good shape. Excellent condition conditions really not too much noise from the amusement park. Very nice conditions layout old school cool mounted greens. Not huge not small. Great fairways watered well out of bounds really not many white steaks just a lot of dried up open ground where my grandson bombs the ball 300 and we were able to find it. I couldn’t see where it went cause I only hit it 200 but we both played the tips. The course is 6200 yards so it’s not nasty long to begin with, but there’s plenty of challenge plenty of sand some character but pretty much open but yet some trees to contend with here and there on the long fairways good time actually only paid $65 for three of us on GolfNow to off so even with the one bailing was still only 32 each or whatever the wife did not like this course five years ago this was my second time playing it and the middle of July when the conditions are the best we played the end of March so it was totally different but I try this course again. I guess I’m used to more tree line like the 15th hole but yes nice course old one 99 years old this year.
Fast greens
Overall condition of the course was great! Pace of play was a little slow because some golfers don't know when to let others pass but that changed on the back 9. The greens however were very tough to read and quite fast. I'll definetly continue to golf at Lincoln golf club for many years to come.
beautiful course, day, area
Our first visit to the Michigan lake area! Very impressed with the golf courses and this one was the best. Immaculate condition, velvet fairways, not even a divot to be seen. Generous width for errant hitters. Nice layout, somewhat challenging but not punishing. Small greens are tricky to stay on. I would return to this area again to play this and other surrounding links.
Great day!
My wife and I visited Lincoln for the first time this past weekend. It is a great course for couples with the ladies getting a pretty good advantage on most holes. The course was in great shape with very fast greens (even though it had rained during the previous evening). We'll be back!
A Fun Course
This course is very well maintained. It is a little short and easy to play, but the pristine conditions make it a ton of fun. It was the perfect course for both my wife and me. Also, there is a unique view when standing on the first tee. You look down the straightaway par 4 and behind the green you can see roller coasters from the Michigan's Adventure Amusement Park. Definitely a fun and unique experience.
At the right price this is a good course.
Lincoln is a nice course that is well maintained. The distance is not overly challenging as it is only about 6,050 from the back tees, but the greens offer a formidable challenge. The greens are fast with a lot of breaks.
This course is semi-private so their walk-up rates for non-members are pretty high. At the Golf Now price of $17 for 18 and a cart, this was an awesome value.
Beautiful, well-kept course.
Playing Lincoln Could and should have been an extremely special time. Course was in gorgeous shape, greens were in pristene condition and running true and quick. Onle one problem, no player etiquette regarding slow play and no marshalls to see that play moved along. What a shame...
Nice course, clubhouse staff not polite at all.
Decent course in good condition. Clubhouse staff attempted to overcharge me by $30. Had to show email for confirmation.
Course in great shape. Was fun to play. Greens ran true
Staff in club house not nice. Course was in great shape for how dry it's been. Was a fun to play
Enjoyable round
Well Maintained Course. Will be easier next time, when I figure out which Tee to use.
Mature and lovely
A fine old gal (since 1927) in excellent condition. Some challenging bunkers, but just a few. The rough consists mainly of tall grasses, so if you avoid this, you'll have an enjoyable round!
This is a well maintained course.
A beautiful golf course that challenges golfers of all skill levels. This luscious golf course in Muskegon, Michigan is challenging, but it also provides golfers with a relaxing atmosphere and picturesque backdrop. Will test your accuracy off the tee with fairways 30 yards wide, water hazards and sand traps. Sand traps and greens that are in excellent condition. This is a course I will return to often.
