Nice course!
We had a wonderful time playing this beautiful course! We loved the glimpses of Lake Michigan!
Great layout in great shape
The greens were rolled and perfect shape. Course is as good as it’s ever been. Staff is always awesome and very friendly. Definitely recommend playing here.
This course is one of my absolute favorites
3 nines to choose from, all very interesting and very different. Surroundings are beautiful. Near the shores of Lake Michigan!
Carts
Some of the best carts around, quiet with plenty of power.
Fun day with my son golfing
The weather was great and the golf was awesome. Love the coarse but we had a very slow foursome in front of us so we had to skip ahead. Overall a good experience and we will definitely be back!
Great Shape
The course was in great shape. The weather was cold for the first nine on the Woods course that is near Lake Michigan. It warmed up on the Valley nine which is picturesque. Old Channel is secluded and always a joy to play.
Old school cool
The wife and I started coming here a couple years ago after a long layoff of over 25 years that I had not played it. It’s nice that they have 27 here and each night has its own character. The old woods is from the 1920s and it’s unique and has these bones And the Meadows is also a nice track and the newest 9 is the valley across the road which is also very nice. No it is on golf now when you get a very good price here and being that it’s a little out of the way it does not seem to get crowded at all.
Believe it or not we only paid $10 each here the last time with a coupon that they give us with tee off.com so you cannot beat the price the older gentleman in the clubhouse is a very nice cordial guy and the clubhouse reminds me of an old Stuckey‘s restaurant with a concrete floor in the steeple top roof. The guys take pretty good care of these old lines and being it is an hour drive for us it is worth it. We will be back again
Wife loves it, so do I. 9 holes close to 100 years old! 9 from ‘60s, ‘90s
Played beer for first time back in 1997 with a buddy who worked for Kent county road commission on an outing where alcohol was free flowing and had not played it again until a couple years ago so it had been 25 years and didn’t remember much.
The 3 nines all have different personalities the Woods be built in 1926 with its mounded greens and guarded bunkers and unusual mound’s which almost look like they were bunkers at one time but now ate grass. It looks strange at first but there’s many on most holes.
We like the newest 9 the Valley onnhe east side built in the ‘90s.
It is maintained very well and now that it’s on TeeOff we’re going to be the more this year. Unfortunately it’s an hour drive.
Being right next to Lk Michigan it’s several degrees cooler!
