PohlCat Golf Course

We are making a trip over to Redhawk in Tawas on the east side of the state and this is almost halfway just caught a great deal on GolfNow are about half times and never really disappoint. The back time we got hung up behind a couple slow foursomes still got done in 3 1/2 hours. Of course conditions are good. Enjoy the river.

Overall we really enjoy the course. But the one thing the really peeves me is the out of bounds settings on the golf cart. At times we are over 50 yards from the green and have to walk the rest of the way.

To top that off by the time you've went to far, as it didn't detect it quick enough, your forced to only go in reverse at a crawl speed. Without any mirrors it becomes difficult to navigate due to poor rear visibility. Almost ended up in a sand trap with barely enough to continue in reverse. I think this is the last time we will go to the course.

Great place awesome staff! Course was in great shape. I had trouble with the greens initially but can’t wait to play it again…

Excellent course. Fun to play the whole 18 with a challenging layout. Only downside was being stuck behimd a group of 8 who couldnt get to the green in under 10 shots and wouldnt let us play through

This was the first time I have played the course and the first thing you notice is how friendly the staff inside were when we signed in. They were so friendly and engaging. The layout and condition of the course was excellent especially considering all the rain we had recently. The greens were in phenomenal condition. I would recommend this course to golfer who are looking for a fun and challenging experience.

This is a great course and layout. It is always in top notch condition.

Please get rid of the owner talking to me through the GPS screen. Very annoying along with the dumb ads. It cheapens the experience.

You will Love Pohlcat - beautiful, with the Chippawa River running through it in several places! It was a perfect Michigan, June day and Senior Rates!

Very nice golf course in great shape. $50 with cart for 18 was a steal.

Groups in front of us had no business playing from the white tees. This group was never approached by management/ranger. 5 1/2 hours of getting stiff after every shot. This group was leaving their cart near the path as it shuts off FREQUENTLY. They must have thought it was cart path only ? Management should have noticed. They did not. There was no starter, there was no rangers. Payed 125.00 each and did not get what we paid for. I understand the 90 degree rule, so does the 24 men in our group, we golf. Pihlcat should have absolutely been monitoring play and did not. They failed me and my group, very disappointing end to a 5 day golf trip. You guys just left us out there to rot….
