7th green. This is a beautiful and difficult par three at almost 190. The green is one of the largest on the course and is three-tiered. Be sure to go around the corner to check the hole location, as the shot is somewhat blind from the back tee. Photo submitted by u314161955381 on 12/27/2022

15th green. This is a very interesting risk-reward par five. The green is blind from the fairway up until about 100 yards out, but if you're able to fade a driver over the trees that cut into the fairway on the right, you will be able to go for it. Photo submitted by u314161955381 on 12/27/2022

17th fairway. This long par five has a winding back and forth fairway that takes you deep into the Michigan woods. The fairway is plateaued and either side drops off and you have hardly any room to miss. Photo submitted by u314161955381 on 12/27/2022
Great spot for the value
This course is a hidden gem. I'm kind of local, I live about 30 minutes away and I play all over. I had heard about the course but never played it. I saw they had a deal for 18 holes and I'm glad I played it today. I will definitely come back.
1st, the staff was friendly and cooperative thats always a plus when you've never played a course. Even the people playing that were regulars were friendly and helped with directions. 2nd, the course was maintained well for the money paid. The courses difficulty level for a newer golfer like myself was perfect. Some holes were hard and some were easy. I would give it a 6.5 and I've played American Dunes and would say that was a high 9 for me.
Overall, if you're thinking about playing it and trying to decide. Do it! I'm glad i did.
Funky fun
We went up to Claire to buy some donuts and get a big pot from the Amish store and played the firefly on Friday, 19 September 25 funky layout rough conditions 90 year-old course front nine anyway or half of it and narrow throughout kind of cool character, not the best of conditions by any means but we had fun I guess feeling her in the area but it’s a one and done for us.
Crap
Run by a bunch of kids. Course is trash, kids have zero respect. Adults no where to be found.
Fun course. Booked an afternoon round, and started after 4. Good fun course, not too long, but some tight fairways. Greens are a bit rough, and very small, so you have to hit good approach shots.
Not bad.
The course is laid out super weird and no clear signage directing you to the layout of the hole or the next hole. The sign for the hole is before you get to the tee box, which I thought was odd. There is no map on the scorecard either. The front 9 definitely needs work. No real/clear 2nd cut off the green. The tee boxes are uneven. The back 9 was much better. There are a couple holes that you're literally shooting blind due to the lay of the land and no clear map/visual idea where the flag is. The "club house" is smaller than my garage. They clearly don't do a lot of business in there. I think there were 6 stools at the bar. The greens are very challenging!
Overall, not a bad course for the money! Could't beat $20 for 18 holes and a cart on a hot & breezy summer day!
Nice course, great staff
We enjoyed golfing here. They were aerating the back nine, so we had to play the front twice. This just gives us a reason to have to go back.
