Course is usually in pretty good condition, pace of play is always an issue though, you have 70 year olds whose handicap matches their age that absolutely refuse to let anyone play through. Also this time when I came they only had 1 golf cart available and it absolutely should be nowhere near a course and should be in a junkyard.

Course is ok. Wouldn’t pay over $25 for 18 w/ cart.

The problem with this place is there is no one in charge or for that matter anyone paying attention to what is going on. This was our second time playing here and the same issues occurred. It’s like they don’t use a tee sheet. There are people just teeing off whenever they want or just going off the back cutting off players making the turn. This last time me had booked tee time. We loaded up and checked in, the person behind the counter said you’re all set good to go. I asked if we were next off the tee and she I think so, well maybe there is a twosome. So we pulled up to the tee box and waited behind a foursome that was waiting for another foursome in the fairway. They then teed off. As we waited for them another foursome rolled up and pulled in front of us. I asked them what their tee time was cause surely ours was next. Not to me to mention we were now 20 minutes past our booked time. He said we don’t have one, we called and they said just come out and play. I let the gentleman know we had a tee time and we were next. He said ok, we will just go off the back. Didn’t bother me but they just cut off another group making the turn that was inside the clubhouse buying beverages or food.

5:45 round on a very short playable course.

Not sure we will be back.

This course is not great but they make up for it with a super friendly staff and very reasonable green fees. The front nine was in pretty good shape. The back nine was a little rough. Hard packed ground, a few beat up greens, and overall very average scenery. . Having said that, again, the extremely pleasant staff and the inexpensive green fees make this a good value for a recreational golfer in mid-Michigan.

Need to clean carts. They have employees bring cart to your car, which is very helpful. But the carts are dirty. I play this course several times a week. Better tips if carts were clean.

I do enjoy the course and staff is friendly.

Round booked thru golf now was more than if calling course. First time playing course not sure of layout nor distances. No gps on carts nor were there any yardage makers in fairways despite mentioning them on score card.BRING YOUR OWN GPS.

My only complaint would be the golf carts are dirty.

This course is a hidden gem. I'm kind of local, I live about 30 minutes away and I play all over. I had heard about the course but never played it. I saw they had a deal for 18 holes and I'm glad I played it today. I will definitely come back.

1st, the staff was friendly and cooperative thats always a plus when you've never played a course. Even the people playing that were regulars were friendly and helped with directions. 2nd, the course was maintained well for the money paid. The courses difficulty level for a newer golfer like myself was perfect. Some holes were hard and some were easy. I would give it a 6.5 and I've played American Dunes and would say that was a high 9 for me.

Overall, if you're thinking about playing it and trying to decide. Do it! I'm glad i did.

We went up to Claire to buy some donuts and get a big pot from the Amish store and played the firefly on Friday, 19 September 25 funky layout rough conditions 90 year-old course front nine anyway or half of it and narrow throughout kind of cool character, not the best of conditions by any means but we had fun I guess feeling her in the area but it’s a one and done for us.
