About
Eagle Glen Golf Course is one of central Michigan's best public courses. It has a traditional links-style layout reminiscent of the great courses of Scotland. The wide-open landscape is dotted with natural wetlands and tall native grasses. The layout features large, rolling greens that are framed by strategically placed bunkers and gently sloped mounds. The greens can be tough but there is usually ample room for recoveries and the generous landing areas give high handicappers a chance too. There are many water hazards that come into play but one of the most difficult elements of the course is the wind. It's a layout that requires both accuracy and proper club selection. The sixth hole is one of the Eagle Glen's prettiest but also one of its toughest. This par 3 demands a challenging carry over a pond with very little room for error.

Behind the 2nd green. Medium length, tight par 5. Severe slopes in green. Views get even better than this Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 07/08/2019

The third tee. Tight shot. You can catch one of those tree limbs if your not careful. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 07/08/2019

The fourteenth green. Second longest par 4 on the course. Downhill about 30 feet. Nice view of the farm just beyond and it goes to show how well this course blends into the Mid-Michigan countryside Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 07/08/2019

Eagle Glen
Love this course. Great conditions, excellent pace of play, fantastic layout
Hidden gem in mid-Michigan
Absolutely stunning track. Fantastic shape! Wish I lived on the course so I could play it everyday!!!
Vacation round of golf
I booked an 840 tee time arrived at the course and Ray the starter couldn't have been more pleasant. The threesome I was playing with was on the range so Ray said go to the first tee. If they don't show up just go you have two foursomes in front of you. The groups in front of me were gracious then I virtually had the course to myself. Would a great day to golf. Eagle Glen always delivers the course was in great shape tee to greens.
Good course, people need work
Be prepared to wait for slow old people and rednecks, course “ranger” is a cripple(no offense my brother literally is) that sits on the first tee doing nothing all day
Nice Course
A little out of the way but well worth it. Great course and staff.
I like this course, go some other place to play please.
Great Course
We played this after playing 3 others in Mount pleasant! Staff was great! And you can tell they work very hard to keep up this course up and looking awesome! We were very impressed! Thought the price was very reasonable as well! It reminds us of a more modern links style course and will definitely be recommending it to others! And hope to come back again in the near future!
Nice course
We’ve been to Clare several times but never played this course. It’s very nice with exception of aerated greens. It played a little slow until the foursome let us play through. The tee boxes are women friendly. Will definitely play again later in the season when the greens heal.
Excellent course
Best bang for your buck. One of my favorite courses.
Great course and conditions, greens were excellent condition!
Highly recommended course, great value, good carts with GPS. The staff were great! Thank you for a great fall day of golfing in northern Michigan.
