Ron Jaworski's Valleybrook Country Club
About
Ron Jaworski's Valleybrook Golf Club is one of South Jersey's most popular public courses. It's a local favorite not only because of the affordable rates but also for the challenging design. The diverse terrain provides the classic layout with a mix of flat and hilly holes. On some holes you can expect elevation changes from tee to green. It's a golf course that will keep you on your toes. It will test your accuracy with its narrow, tree-lined fairways and the elevation changes throughout the course make proper club selection essential. Water hazards also appear on nine occasions. The course has appeal for players of all skill levels. It's player-friendly enough for beginners while advanced players will enjoy the many risk-reward opportunities. There is also a driving range available at Valleybrook Golf Club.

Monday at Valleybrook
A nice weather day. The course had some water issues especially in regards to bunkers near the greens. They were pumping out the water as we were playing through. Maybe some drainage projects should be planned for the off season. The greens were in better than fair rolling conditions. The fairways had some soggy locations but were easily traversed in the carts. Just around 4 hours to get around which is about normal for the course. They were having an outing setup so we went elsewhere for lunch.
What happened to this course…?
Either it was a bad day or the operation doesn’t know how to operate. First, approached the snack stand after the front 9, the awning itself couldn’t even open up. You had to duck under to even get to the stand. The ‘alleged’ menu options: breakfast sandwich, cheeseburger, hot dog. Asked for a hot dog (“we don’t have any”). Ok, no problem, asked for a cheeseburger (“we don’t have any of those either, just breakfast sandwiches”). What kind: bacon/egg/cheese and sausage/egg/cheese. Asked for two bacon ones (“we only have one bacon…”). I reluctantly ended up with whatever they had left. I go to pay with credit card, the hot spot or whatever wireless madness going on wasn’t working. How am I supposed to pay? Are we obligated to have cash ? Most don’t anymore. What kind of jagaloon operation is going on there?! Won’t be back unless it’s for free from another outing or vendor paying for it
Pro shop person checking in: miserable
Tee boxes a little beat up. But otherwise pretty good shape for this time of year
Aeration sands
Putting was somewhat like a sand trap as the greens were aerated and coarse sand granules affected nearly every putt. Other than that and the clerk/cashier throwing my change at me after I paid it was a decent day. I enjoy the course. I’ve played it a few times in the past.
Good shape
I don't normally play this course. It was in good shape.
Father’s Day blues
I picked this Ron Jaworski course because I had never played it. I got a tee off time at 10:30. The gentleman at the desk we took my money was miserable. Don’t know why he’s even working there. We proceeded to play over a five hour round when a scene that half the course was empty, except for just what was in front of us. I’ve never played a 5+ hour round. I played a lot of golf courses in my 60+ year-old life I will never recommend this course to anybody I ever meet and I’m so sad that Ron has his name on this course Bruce
Great elevation changes on some holes.
Pace of play was pretty slow. We would catch up to the group ahead of us at the tee box and the group behind us would also catch up and all be we would all be waiting at the same tee box to tee off. Other than that the course was great, it had challenging holes, Staff were friendly. I would come back again.
Conditions were good
Everything was good about the course other than pace of play it is what it is staff is friendly and greens fairways and most tee boxes were good
Played the course with my son. It was a fun day and enjoyed the layout. We will be back!
Course is fine. Pace terrible.
Have played Valleybrook, and multiple other Jaworski courses in the area over the last few years. Think this sunday was the last time. $95 for an average course with goat track tee boxes and the Round took 5 hours and 7 minutes. Would not recommend this course to anyone
Don't play
Management is a bunch of clowns on the golf side treat members like crap
