First time here we had a great time! Loved the electric golf carts and the information screen it had!
Monday at Pitman GC
It was cool and overcast when we started. Little bit of slow play off the start, but it was to be expected.
Fairways were good but recent aeration made putting a challenge. Barely made 100 as an average hack, this was a little high. This and the greens healing will pass. Great time out, they even had a cart person out serving drinks and snacks.
Always a bargain for the buck.
Nice course to get a round in. Weather was a bit cool but even with the aeration the greens, as well as the fairways were in good shape. With Covid winding down the rakes should be back in the sand traps.
Good course
Good course, very short, but not many holes to use a driver. Lots of doglegs. Greens were not in good condition at all but overall good round.
Great course for new players
Course is kept in great shape. Greens are a little bumpy compared to other courses I’ve played .. fair price for the round and course is challenging for new to semi experienced golfer. Fairways are wider than most
Forgiving Course
Pretty much wide open. On most holes you can recover from poor shots. Greens were a bit choppy but they are about to aerate so that should help. I expect to be back and the gps in the cart is a nice feature
New favorite in SJ!
This is my new favorite in SJ. Very interesting well kept course. Small firm greens that punish if you aren't precise, good risk reward holes, sharp dog legs. Pace of play was great. Cart comes with a GPS which is a cool feature. Will definitely be back!
Hidden Gem
Selfishly almost didn’t write this review. Pitman is not what is once was. Great course, great value. Greens were a bit inconsistent but solid all around. Played with some friendly dudes and thoroughly enjoyed the round. Well oiled operation. GPS carts were super accurate, still used the range finder bc why not but you def don’t need one. Food was decent at Bogeys AND you get a free beer with 18 holes. Will be back for sure. Also, make sure to stop at heritages on the way home for some delicious chocolate milk and ice cream.
Great value course
Fun place to play. Staff was courteous and helpful. Greens were in pretty rough shape. That being said great value for the money. 35$ for 18 with a cart on hot deals. Can’t beat it
