Cenerton
We enjoy an early morning weekday round as often as we can. It's usually a 3 hour round and the senior tees make it especially good for us old guys. I really like the whole layout.
Was a great day tomplay
Course was is great condition and not many player on the course do to temp 104 and the holiday. I was able to complete a full round in under 2:30 hours. I was able to beat my old record on the course by two Strokes. I set the record for a 59 in a high school match in 1983 and stir a 57 on this day
Fun time. 4th 2026
Played my first time here the 4th. For the price it was worth it. The layout was okay. Big fairways that you really can’t miss. The greens are little beat up but for the price i paid on GolfNow it was worth it. Hot as fu..
It’s golf
For a $37 hot deal this was a good time. The greens are fantastic. Fairways more of a mow and go, but adequate. Traps could use some sand. More of a tin cup kind of course including the no greeting by the man at the register. Cart kid was friendly and at least he was helpful figuring out which group was up next. Course could use a beverage cart and a bathroom on the course for ladies.
Good value for the money
Course over all in good playing condition, some bare spots, but not really bad. Greens slow, but in good shape. Would play again.
June course conditions
Played here consistently the last 25 years. The course has "never been better". Fact.
$45 Round of golf
The greens were bumpy as they were still recovering from aerating. Fairways were decent but anything on either side of the fairways was choppy with way too many bare spots of hard soil..
Great Value
Centerton is a budget friendly course with some challenging holes. Greens were recently punched and are coming in nicely. Good value and friendly staff.
Good value in tough times.
Fun course friendly staff.
Conditions have been improved this year . I’ll be back .
Centerton Golf Course
Great for the price. Mediocre course but great value.
You get what you pay for.
There is a reason this course is so inexpensive. It lacks so much. No one starting players, the greens were all bouncy from aeration. The tees and fairway average. The carts out dated.
Speaking of which, after the 2nd hole I realized I had an issue with the cart. The front wheels were not aligned. I called the clubhouse(?) and they sent a ranger. He came, looked at it and said that if I wanted a different cart, I needed to go back to the start and switch carts.
Most courses would have sent someone out with a cart, switched at the location and drove it back for you. Not here, that thought never crossed his mind.
This course is only worth while if everywhere else is booked and you really need to play, otherwise skip it!
Monday at Centerton
We played knowing that the greens were aerated about a week or so before. It’s a great course for the weekend players to get a few hours in. The groundskeepers were cutting the greens as we played but I’m thinking maybe more sand could have been used too. Some of the holes were a challenge to have the ball track for more than 5-6 feet. Some slow short putts were never gonna happen because of the aeration and lack of sand.
I know once the greens grow in, this won’t be a problem playing out anywhere on the greens.
South Jersey's Biggest Joke!
Unfortunately, I play this course semi-regularly because of the convenience, and every time I leave disappointed. My round took 6 hours. SIX. HOURS. Tee time was 1:20 and we didn't leave #1 tee box until after 1:50. It's a disgrace. Partly because they didn't have enough carts, partly because nobody enforces pace of play. Greedy golf club booking more tee times than they can support with no separation. No beverage or snack cart. No ranger to enforce pace. Par 3's backed up 4 carts deep. To charge what they do is a joke. They should be paying us. The condition of the course is on par with what you'd expect. Torn up tee boxes that are basically just dirt. Greens roll anything but true. Nobody fixes divots. 0 etiquette here. Half the time you don't even get sand with your cart to fix your divots! The cart boy is too overwhelmed with unhappy customers missing tee times to worry about refilling sand, just all around a terrible experience. Come here if you want your day ruined.
Not what it used to be
This course has long been known as a great course and clubhouse. However it is not anything like it was. The greens are not well maintained and everything looks like it did in the 1980s and shows wear.. The pro shop staff is great but the receptionist is hard to understand and not helpful
