Nothing Majestic about these Oaks
What I was hoping would be a nice well-maintained course ended up being in really rough condition. They had a tournament play the day before causing the greens to have more craters than our moon itself along with multiple dead patches or pure dirt.
A whole one to start the day I was in between the rough and the fringe by the green and what would’ve been a nice attempt at birdie with a putter turned into a forced chip shot due to basically hitting over a sand trap that was supposed to be the green. I understand conditions have been dry, but these were not due to dry conditions. It’s lack of maintenance and care. Very disappointed, will not be coming back.
Disappointed
If I didn't get a half off deal, I would have been extremely disappointed. As it was, I was just happy I didn't pay full price. Carts are very basic, no screens for hole layout and distances. Minimal ball washers. No maps or layout of holes on tee boxes. There was a tiny image of the full course on the back of the scorecard. Almost every tee box was beat up and undulated. It was tough on too many holes to find a flat spot to tee off from. The fact that they want $88 a round with cart ensures I won't be back there again at full price. Too many better courses as that price range. And, I was under the impression the Signature course was the nice one. That can't possibly be??
Not the course I remember being. The course conditions were spotty, shaggy tee boxes and fairways.
Course is in very good condition
I haven’t played this course in decades but have heard good things about it so looked forward to it. The guy in the golf shop was not very friendly, not rude but not inviting either. The layout is interesting and not overly challenging. I like to take care of the course (replace or sand divots, repair ball marks etc) but both sand bottles on the cart were empty. The greens were fast and generally smooth except some had spotty dead patches. Overall I would recommend this course.
Majestic Oaks Signature
I have lived close to these courses my entire life and sadly the price keeps rising with little to no course updates. Cart paths are atrocious with pot holes everywhere, a couple fairways in rough condition, and carts themselves are pretty outdated. Not worth the price tag. Better off going up north for a weekend if you’re looking to spend close or over $100

Fall Golf
Beautiful course for a fall golf outing. Course is well set up for all levels of golfers!

Really fun course. Challenging design makes trouble one each hole. Old growth trees line the fairways of most holes, a player has to keep it tidy.
The course played consistent. One green was absolutely fried… possibly hole 8. Other than that, conditions receive a thumbs up.
Great public course, looking forward to going back. It will certainly make a player eager to challenge the course time and time again.
Great course
The course was awesome but proves it's challenges if you don't hit it in the fairway. Nice round, course condition was nichrome kept up. There's a house I believe in the back 9 that sell used golf balls on a honor system while it teaches their kids about business. I thought it was a great idea and helped the cause. Only complain I have the golf cart were especially slow and 3 some still took 4 hours to complete.
