Northern California's Yocha Dehe tops Power Rankings for the week of Nov. 16

A familiar name is back on top of Power Rankings. Yocha Dehe Golf Club, located on Yocha Dehe Native American reservation, is in the top spot for the fourth time.

Jason Scott Deegan had the chance to play Yocha Dehe, which opened in 2008, earlier this year and had this to say in his story on top Sacramento-area courses: "Troon Golf delivers a five-star experience with immaculate playing conditions and top service. The routing is so peaceful surrounded by rolling hills 48 miles west of Sacramento. There are so many strategic elements to like, starting with a 160-foot drop off the first tee"

Few courses on all of Golf Advisor can match the strong ratings of Yocha Dehe, which has 200-plus reviews and the vast majority of them are five stars. In the past six months, five-star reviews are outpacing four-star reviews 33 to 3. Golfers are smitten by the scenery and the conditions to go along with a great value that rewards golfers for making the drive west from Sacramento.
