Very unusual course
The designer of this course left everything where it laid. Ridges in the green made one put almost impossible. It was an unusual the way it was laid out but that is what golf is all about, making the best of what you got. A variety of clubs had to be used to circumvent this course. I did well to break 90 and glad I didn't go on the other 9 holes of water hazards. The course was long and made up with several par 3's that demand exact shooting. I'll play it again..
Fast Greens
Tee to green the conditions were just average. The greens were perfect if you like hard and fast. Greens would not hold a shot even from a wedge so 125 became 110 with 15 yards of roll. Downhill they were running at least 14 and uphill they were 11. I LOVE fast greens and these scared me!!

great variety of holes. long 5s,short 4s, and UNBELIEVABLE greens. my favorite course in the cleveland-akron area. sand base provides dry and tight fairways. Turkey Rocks!!!
What a Delight
First time here. What a beautiful
course. Extremely fast manicured greens. The course was in perfect shape for early May. I will come back here again, just can't say enough about this great challenging and great layout. Wow, Akron you have a gem here.

This is the first course I think of playing after a lot of rain. It drains so well. Course conditions are always great and the greens roll fantastic. Make sure you are below the hole or your day will be filled with 3 putts. Staff is very friendly. The rates are a little high but there are deals to be found especially using a hot rate thru GolfNow.
Great greens!
I played this course on October 21st and it was well maintained. Leaves had been blown off the fairways and the greens were in great shape! They were doing some work on the tee boxes so some of these were in strange temporary locations. Pace of play was good for a Sunday afternoon on a beautiful fall day.
course is a must play
Top 3 course in Akron/Canton area. Beautiful par 5's and tough par 3's including #2 par 3 with a star green. Greens are fast and true. This is a must play if you haven't played before.
NIce course, good test of golf
Played this course in the past. Was pleasantly surprised as to the great shape it was in. Greens and fairways in very good condition. Enjoyed the round, will go back. Staff also friendly.
