You get what you pay for
Well, staff was friendly, pace of play was great, weather was perfect yet I still didn’t have too good a time. Course was half dehydrated half swamped out. The fairways reminded me of my backyard. The greens were so hard a ball hit off a gap wedge with a 70 degree descent angle bounced 8 feet in the air and roll off the back. The best part about this course is that your ball runs 20-30 yards farther than normal because the ground is so hard and poorly taken care of. Most tee boxes were so uneven I felt like I was teeing off in the rough. Would only take a friend who has never played golf and wants to spend as little as possible to just give it a shot.
Good course, friendly staff, great value.
With all the recent closures, it's great to have a course like Sleepy Hollow. The staff is super friendly, the rates are great and the course is perfect for high schools, beginners and intermediate golfers. I really hope this course survives the economic crisis.
This course deserves positive reviews to keep it open, would hate to see this area lose another classic.

Tale of Two Nines
Got out and played a round of 18. Based on the conditions, it felt like we played two completely different courses. The front nine was wetter than a fire hydrant in a dog kennel, while the back nine was drier than a bowl of uncooked oatmeal. Not sure why this was the case, but it made it difficult to play well. Love the course though and will be back

Sucks
Poor management, i came 40 minutes early she made me wait, because it was couple people before me.. so i started on number one yes it was few people in front of me not problem. So i noticed no to many people on the front nine, so when i made the turn omg that place was packed. I guess the manager let people started on the back i guess it was an outing .with she never mentioned.. I mad.

Don’t see how this course is rated so high.
Round took forever. 2 groups in front of me during my tee time on a Friday morning…
Course conditions sucked. No such thing as fairway, just “short rough” and dirt.
Layout is boring.

Good Experience
Highly recommend this as a practice course. The conditions are a little tough as the fairways are quite dry. But it’s so affordable, the greens are decent, and the staff is extremely friendly. Will definitely be back.

Always a good round
Always a good course to play. Staff are super friendly. Course is well-maintained. If you want the best pace, go before 9:30. Most fellow golfers are experienced and respectful.

This course is quiet and well maintained, my play was slowed down a little but usually is a very fast round. Good setup and always an enjoyable round.
