Edgewater Golf Club

Front 9 is the original @ and has the smaller greens with more character. Back 9 is the newer 9. Hope the previous review is not correct about the course closing as it is a solid course.

Truly the definition of a Mom and Pop operation. Course has a menacing creek traversing several holes. Greens are small and very quick. Played in less than 3 hours on a perfect day.

Course opened in 1926, but, will be closing in a few years. Will go to 9 holes in 2020, and will be totally gone soon thereafter. Do a good deed, and play here before it is gone forever.

Staff was overly friendly!!! Course was in great shape even with our lack of rain...greens played true...thank you very much for your hospitality !!!

65 degrees in November - forecast called for rain , we got lucky and got 18 in without getting wet. Clubhouse attendant was super friendly and the course was awesome. $10 for 18 and a cart / can’t beat the value ! Can’t wait to play here again in the spring. In my opinion this place is a hidden gem.

Course was in good shape. Wasn't too busy. Got the tee time on GolfNow. It was $10 plus the $4 fee. $14 for 18 and a cart. Great deal. Often times it's on GolfNow for great rates

Pace of play was very slow at first,until the starter let us start on the back 9.Overall course was excellent shape & staff was very friendly. I would recommend this course to anyone though.

Not the hardest course I play or the nicest but I enjoy going there. I play it 8-10 times a year. Always in good shape and a very fun course to play. Staff always extremely helpful and friendly. I highly recommend it.

Staff is always very friendly and helpful. I've played here many times. Today is Aug 8 and after dry summer fairways are in good condition, greens are excellent and challenging. Sand traps could use some better sand but for a public course they are average. Located in rural area so there's not a lot of places close by, but, that's fine. Clubhouse offers your normal items and is priced average. We enjoy our round every time we play here. Well worth going anytime.

but we were put in the middle of an outing??????? Which made the first 14 holes horrendously slow. Over all we love the course for the price range, the folks are super, and normally the pace is excellent!

Nice course to go play 18 it's challenging and fun

My golf partner and I thoroughly enjoyed the round of golf. Staff was very friendly and trimmers and mowers were busy, but courteous.

Years ago this was the first course I ever played. Even though I have now enjoyed courses all over Ohio and even a couple out of state it still remains my Favorite. Good food, good people, great times out at this country course! See you again soon :)

Weather was perfect course was in decent shape for as bad a summer we had with no rain and the heat. The young lady behind the counter was very friendly. Had a great time will go back.

I was flabbergasted at how great the pace of play was on a holiday. Course played hard but you come to expect that in late summer in Ohio. Bunkers were in great shape not that I was in many. What a value. It's been a long time since I've been here being that I'm from Salem but the drive was easy. About 30 min. We will be back for sure!!! Thank you Edgewater for a really great experience. Oh and I shot 79 so that probably helped in the review.

I had played Edgewater about 5 yrs ago. Thanks to the great rate i got from Golf Now my Grandson and I decided to go play it Sunday. Normally i play during week when rates are better, but the rate i got was like a weekday rate on a weekend. Course is in excellent condition. Par 4's not overly long, yet very challenging requiring smart golf decisions.

In 2016 Edgewater made it a high priority to focus on its course conditions and the results are wonderful. Even in the dry conditions and high temperatures the greens are holding shots and the putts roll smoothly. The fairways are watered. The bunkers are all updated and raked. Tree limbs are cut. The rough and streams are well kept. There is no litter anywhere. The course conditions are beautiful.

Always good to golf with the prices , I wish other courses like pleasant view would have golf now . Wonderful wonderful app . Thank you
