Sycamore Springs Golf Course
About
Sycamore Springs Golf Course has managed to stay one of Arlington's best-kept secrets since it first opened as a nine-hole course in 1958. The second nine wasn’t added until 1994. It's often considered an underrated course, but locals in the know will tell you it's one of the most challenging rounds you'll find in the area. The golf course has a traditional design that measures 6,681 yards. It would be a mistake to underestimate Sycamore Springs since there are a number of tricky doglegs that require some deft maneuvering and greens that play fast and true. The golf course is especially tough on windy days. There are a few ponds that come into play and a creek meanders through the course as well. Sycamore Springs G.C. also has a driving range, two putting greens, and a chipping green for golfers to use.

great value, course in great shape
Course was in great shape, staff was helpful. The only problem was pace of play, a group that was behind decided to jump two holes in front of us, which caused the back nine to become a death march
Awesome Course
First time playing this course, got a hot deal for $20 per person for 18 and a cart. Fantastic course layout and the condition of this course is phenomenal. The clubhouse/pro shop was really nice as well with friendly staff. We all really enjoyed this round and made the decision that we will be back only after a few holes.
One of the best rated public courses that I’ve ever played on. There’s nothing I could say bad about this golf course. It is just everything you ever want to play golf.
Great Course
Greens rolled quick and true. Grass was clean and crisp. Nice layout. Beautiful course
Great course/Pace of play/watering greens
Course condition excellent and value overall was great. Recommend the following suggestions. Tell slow walkers to allow others to play through, especially when they are a single and in a cart. Water greens earlier, I could not putt on most of back nine due to sprinklers running. The ones I did the green was so saturated you could not putt. I would still recommend this course to play just later on in day.
Amazing greens
So consistent of a roll great view of the layout can't wait to come back
Sanded greens
I really like the course but when we played on Thursday 5/16, the greens were bad. They had lots of sand on them making it even harder to make a putt than normal. I believe that the course should not charge full price under these conditions.
Great course and all their staff
We had light rain most of the day, but the course was an excellent condition and the staff went out of their way to help us.
What a beautiful golf course. Very fair price for this time of year the only negative thing that I had was we were only permitted to stay on cartpath. I would recommend this golf course to anybody that likes to play a nice fair golf course. Maybe the next time I play we won’t have weather conditions like we’ve had in the last few days
Nice considering the season.
Fairways were in really good condition and the tea boxes were nice. Staff was professional and the pro shop and Sandwich areas were clean and well organized too. The greens were plugged and filled with sand so they were somewhat rough and slow but I guess that’s to be expected this time of year Fairways were in really good condition and the tea boxes were nice. Staff was good and the pro shop in Sandwich area was nice to.
Course in great condition!
We had a great round here. Fairways and greens were in fabulous shape.
